see, the opposers should come up with one name to cover Miki's position. Inter can not win with Frattesi, we all know that. Dark horse is Zielinski, if he does better. But to create this fuss for on a misplaced shot, that was not goona count anyway?

Why didn't Inzaghi bring in Zielinski? I didn't expected that.

Average age of the team that started against Lecce, 31 years old.

Unbelievable.

I'm a little concerned about midfield this season. It's fair to consider a downturn from Miki considering his age and he is one of only six midfielders available. Last year there were seven and although Klaessen and Sensi barely kicked a ball, that was in part because the main trio were rarely, if at all, injured (though they were overused).

I'm not sure we can hope to be so lucky this season with injuries. It would help somewhat if Frattesi could play alongside Barella sometimes instead of in the place of, but after trying that a couple of times early last season Inzaghi dropped that idea rapidly and it never happened again. I suppose if there's unavailability in one of the more advanced roles, you could push Asllani into it where he might be better suited than as a DM anyway. I'd still like the security of a no cost seventh midfielder though.

You're right. Mkhitaryan isn't as useful as he was when he first joined Inter. Obviously the stamina is still there, but he's quickly transforming into a problem in the attacking phase. It's not all about goals, either, despite that being the most obvious problem.
It’s not even the misplaced passes for me, he’s always fired a few stays every game. The most noticeable sign of decline for me was in defence.

Miki of the past would be intercepting, pressing and generally forcing half a dozen turnovers every game, but I haven’t seen any of that this season.
