It is easy to explain why: because of selling point. If there are always the same or similar shirt, who will buy it? You buy once and you are done. This way, you buy very often.

I feel fans would in high numbers rather buy new stuff every 2-3 years that looks good, rather than buy shit yearly (based on the limited feedback from this forum ).

Looked nice only because you couldn't see that terrible pattern from far away. As soon as you camera were focusing our players, you can tell that jersey is a mess.
