Oaktree asked for the jackets to be AI designed, it’s cheaper that way.

It would probably been less an eyesore if that was the case. This look exactly the sort of design Nike would come up with, somehow I wander if they also outsource their design department to a sweatshop

here for the usual "im going to buy the pre game kit this year instead of the main jersey"
It looks fucking shit but as I see people are saying this all over the internet. Make it makes sense.

I just can't wait to have a 2-star jersey, whatever the design is.

I wonder if this jersey design was ultimately directed by management/Zhang - they definitely pushed to beef up their media/social image and transform the brand into a more youthful/edgy look so this was probably a product of that

then Oaktree took over and Nike probably decided it was too late to switch designs so here we are

Have you guys seen those Barcelona jerseys though-straight fire

Barca look horrible, perhaps not Inter horror but still.

I doubt the story it’s our former management, they are doing the same shit on other teams kit as well, I think it’s more likely other team asked them to tone down the edgy stuff because it’s a bit of a Nike trend currently.

I really want another sponsor, not just because it’s a horrible company, not saying Adidas are angels because they also love exploiting workers, with abusive treatment.

Unfortunately kit manufacturers like this is also some of the absolute worst companies out there and use sweatshops or sweatshop like conditions to a very worrisome degree

it's what I read every year. IMO even if it should be true, you can't compare a pre game jersey with a normal one. They are diffrent to the game jerseys. Yeah maybe it looks cool sometimes but I don't see the sense in it.

This two looks like we are Chelsea. That first one on Thuram is fantastic.

Those shorts look like mid 90s shorts.

At least the back is half and half, looks like one of those hybrid jerseys where two different jerseys are combined. The front is just terrible, they should have just committed to that design and done the whole jersey that way, would have been better than that.

Surely we'll get used to it, like the zigzag or the $Inter ones

— Inter ⭐⭐ (@Inter) July 23, 2024
“Inter and Nike are pleased to present the new first-team kit for 2024/25. The jersey, which is set to become iconic, brings back the tricolour badge and, for the very first time, the historic Second Star,” the Nerazzurri said in a statement.

“The recent achievement by the Nerazzurri leads the launch campaign for the jersey, which focuses on the theme of the creative process. In parallel with the stars that finally appear on the shirt, the hero video showcases other types of stars brought to life in various forms thanks to contributions by a range of different artisans involving sculptures, tattooes and other creations.

“The new jersey harks back to the Club’s glorious past on the chest area, but, above all, it represents its future ambitions. The hero video comes to an end with the verse “The stars, the start”, highlighting the club’s aspiration and wish to face up to and overcome every challenge that lies in wait.

“Through the various processes of star creation, the campaign once again underscores the brand’s connection with Milano, a city that creates, builds and shapes ideas and dreams just like Inter.

“Milano also served as inspiration for the home kit design. The city has always respected history, while embracing modern ideas and the avantgarde movement across all fields, from architecture to design and from art to fashion. The blend of tradition and innovation, which is part of the DNA of Inter as well as Milano, is just what the new jersey aims to represent. The classic stripes are paired with a modern and dynamic interpretation, characterising both the shirt and the shorts. The kit is made with Dri-FIT ADV, an innovative fabric designed to serve up freshness, lightness and dryness during great sporting moments.

“For the first time in the version with two stars, the Inter logo is sewn into the centre of the jersey, with the tricolore badge on its left. Betsson Sport also makes its debut on the front as the new Official Main Partner, while the collaboration with U-Power continues on the back as the club’s Official Back Jersey Partner.

“The launch of the new jersey featured three members of the men’s first team: Lautaro Martinez, Alessandro Bastoni and Nicolò Barella as well as two Inter Women players: Chiara Robustellini and Annamaria Serturini, all of whom posed with the kit while showing their emotions and how proud they felt to be the faces of this historic campaign.

“After a period of great anticipation and demand among supporters, the new Home Kit for 2024/25 will finally be available on 23 July on the official Online Store (store.inter.it/en-gb) and nike.com, at Inter Store Milano, Inter Store Castello and Inter Store San Siro and at the Nike stores on Milano Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Loreto and Roma Via del Corso and from 30 July in authorised dealers.

The jersey will be donned for the first time on Saturday 27 July in the friendly clash with UD Las Palmas in Cesena.”
Watch: Inter drop historic 2024-25 home kit with second star

  • Forward thinking / out of the box / disruptive design which suits a fashion capital like Milano
  • I can see many people here on FIF don't like it, but I do
  • Fits well the increasing number of bipolar / borderline personality disorder Inter fans 🤪

OCD people should be tortured looking at that jersey :palm: The left side looks as rumple as someone forgetting to iron half the outfit.
