Ok, so the jerseys for next season appear to have leaked (though it's still a RUMOR), and god I wish they hadn't. My eyes hurt. This is absolutely the most disgusting thing I have ever seen. A disgrace to our beautiful club and the gorgeous jerseys you could make for it with black/blue. Even fan-made designs are way better, I wish they would use those. Or keep it the way it is this year... And we thought this year's jersey was crap when it leaked (though it ended up being good imo), well this is much worse. I really hope that this is just a false rumor and this will not be the real design. Every club has the same pattern by the way, it's not hard to see Nike's pattern for the upcoming season...

I'll show three jerseys:

Barcelona:

Atletico Madrid:

And, Internazionale:

For Atletico Madrid it works, also because of the diagonal line in their logo, but for us it sucks I think... Don't know what you think about it, but I can't imagine someone finding these better than the current ones (since I have only seen negative comments on it yet)... Especially not if you see a pic of the jersey in real:

It's photoshopped and stuff, I know, but this would be what it really looks like... Terrible imo. :palm:

Nike's patterns are so weird, sometimes in good ways, sometimes in bad - this one is very very bad.

I HATE THIS SHIT

There should be nothing under the Nike logo.

placement3.jpg

In between those pink lines should be EMPTY SPACE. There should be NOTHING between the Inter logo and the Pirelli logo.

While obviously we want to display our Scudetto and Coppa Italia patches with pride, they rape the space of the Nike Logo.

placement2.jpg

Nothing should enter that pink box. Each logo on the jersey should have its own personal space. That's just simple design sensibility.

This fucking shitty crammed placement of badges is the one and only reason I haven't bought a 2010/11 jersey yet.

Fucking dumb assholes. :palm:

Not to mention the terrible stripes. If this is really what it's gonna look like I won't even consider buying it.

EDIT: If the topic title could be changed to 'Inter Jerseys 2011/2012', would be nice...

I really like to meet Nike's design team & tell'em what morons they are. I don't like adidas either but I think they did a decent designing job this season. Fuckin' Nike has their heads up their asses... But what the hell I mean... We (Inter) aren't paying them, it's the other way round.

If they were charging us I'm sure they would have done better with the designing. Cuz then we were paying & we expected a fine service.

For at least the tenth time, this isn't real. Christ. It's two photoshops off of some guys blog. Great, Nike used this pattern twice. That doesn't mean every team with stripes gets this pattern. Last year, Porto had a different design from Barca who had a different design from Juve who had a different design from us. Nike designs dozens of patterns each year. Sure, this is a possibility, but no more than anything else.

If they were charging us I'm sure they would have done better with the designing. Cuz then we were paying & we expected a fine service.

Ridiculous logic.

Ridiculous logic.

What's up with you today? Have you been hanging with Azzkikr a lot lately?!

OK let's go through this "ridiculous" logic for a second: If I offered you a product not only for free but even paid you to have it, would you still be picky about the product & be like "Meh, nah... Don't like it, don't want it"?! Or would you be a little less critical compared to a scenario in which you would be the party offering money?

I'm not suggesting that Inter is not going to be consulted at all & there wishes will not be considered but I can imagine they won't be picky about it & ultimately take what's on the table... or has there ever been an example of Inter rejecting designs which I'm unaware of?

First of all, Juve rejected the zig zag stripes last year so there goes that part of your argument.

Nike makes money through merchandise sales. People aren't going to buy the shirt if it's ugly. The only way they make a profit is if they put out a quality product. They are completely interested in making a nice shirt. The fact that they're paying the team is irrelevant.

They have the pattern partially on their away shirt as far as I know.

Ugliness/prettiness is relative. Same as our conclusion in the "revealing result" discussion, some may find it nice, some may find it ugly. So as you may know it's almost impossible to come up with a product which is absolutely equally acclaimed across the board or the other way round. Ask Universe. Taking that into consideration I don't think Inter will be picky about the whole thing cuz it's always gonna end up the same way: some are going to like it, some not.

Nike offered Juve the stripe pattern Inter uses claiming it looked like the Alps and they said no thanks.

Obviously people have different tastes. So then Nike couldn't have done a better job? Which contradicts your first statement. I don't understand why you're trying to say here.

Meh what's wrong with a normal straight line, why can't we keep a bloody kit for two seasons and alternate one of the kits so we'd have a rotation, this would help stop Nike from their crazy search for originality which ends up with us having dreadful kits.

I hope these home and away shirts design will be ours next season, with some little editing by Nike designers, it will look very nice, at least for me.

As for the GK's shirt.. it looks really bad, I dont want it..

Btw, these are fan-made though..

Fewer shirt sales.

This is how they do it in MLS, though. At least the league has one thing going for it.

Also, they goalkeeper shirt Huz just posted is class.

I love the away one in that mockup but you gotta include the star on Inter's badge in the kit

Seriously. Like... I.. Mean.. Those new designs are just horrible! :palm:
If they turn out to be the real deal, man..

And I was already thinking that this years homeshirts were shit...
But fingers crossed!

The stripes makes me feel we're living in the year of 3011!
Why does everything have to be so modern all of a sudden?

Why can't we just have our football shirts with normal stripes?
But also keep it from being fashion show clothing.

Yet it shouldn't be too simple and dumb either.
Balance it out, is what I would say to the producers/designers of the shirts!

A shirt design I would like to see again is the 09/10 Inter home shirt.
That was close to perfect I think.

PS: I'm not refering to the photos uploaded by HuZ. Those were actually kinda nice! :)

The only kit that pulls off this BS design is Atletico.

If this is our home kit next year, I simply will not buy it. I'll break out my retro '97 jersey when I go to matches or something. I pray that either

a) This is not our kit
b) Our away kit it MUCH better
c) We ditch Nike for Adidas or Puma. I know it's not possible right now due to contracts and that stuff, but honestly, Nike wouldn't know tradition if it bit them in the rear.
