Oh but also I have to add. He isn't as good as Kovačić was when we got him. Topalović needs time, but the talent is there for sure. Send him to Serie B now, then slot him into our U23 team the next season if that is really happening. When Calhanoglu leaves, he becomes the first option off the bench if we give him time.

Of course, we paid 850k for Topalovic. For Kovacic, we paid 11m + 4m.

Not just that, it's also the level of opposition he played. If I'm not mistaken, Kovačić also played in CL before coming to Inter, which obviously would also mean a bigger transfer fee. I just hope Topalović can trust himself to grow in confidence too, just look at Asllani, he's not a perfect player but he sure has the confidence. Kovačić did too. Not so sure Topalović has that atm, but maybe I'm mistaken.

Nice episode. Spain deserved it. Impressed with Yamal and Olmo. England should have rested Kane and limited his minutes. Palmer, Watkins and Gordon should have been used more. Oh well. Glad Lautaro won it. The Tessmann nonsense is about not having a Waffle House within walking distance to his crib. Chiesa is a no, but what about Dybala if Roma is moving on? Not enough hard hitting in depth reporting on rumors regarding Correa though.
