I did not the fact that Andreolli was given the captain armband. I thought either Palacio or Handanovic deserved it way more.

Andreolli has the look of our former capitano..(zanetti and fachetti).. I guess that was the reason

Consider that today we played with a 4-2-4 because Palacio played much near Icardi...

With Kovacic as AM, we will play with a real 4-2-3-1 e we will have much more balance in the team.

Fantastic comment, I was just thinking to myself the other day how similar 4-2-3-1 is to 4-2-4, the main difference is that you press w/ 3 attacking mids in the former. You swap a striker for an attacking mid. Much better than 5 at the back! We were just inviting pressure!

I believe Izco was onside when Tino Costa struck the ball.

This 4 at the back formation just showed how solid of a team we can become. We need to get rid of this 3 at the back formation permanently that for some reason Italian teams are obsessed with. Vidic probably had his best game with us and Medel was a monster. 4 ATB suits us better and with Shaqiri to come in we will be even stronger. Now we just need that consistency so we can snatch that champions league spot which all of a sudden doesn't really look that far away.

This team would concede 3+ goals a game

Recipe for disaster. If we're going to play with two wingers + Icardi we'll need two sound defensive players in the midfield.

Go watch Napoli if you don't believe me. Inler + Gargano/Lopez barely is enough defensive cover, so they typically play two DMs (Gargano and Lopez usually). Jorginho has also failed in that position at Napoli, so I have absolutely no hope that Guarin would manage.

Your logic is a little flawed. I'm pointing out how bad they are defensively when they only play with one pure DM. And that they still struggle when they play one DM plus Inler who is quite good defensively. My point being that Guarin isn't nearly as good defensively as Inler or even Jorginho, so it'd be suicide.

well well well

whos logic was flawed again? inter DID play with the midfield three that i suggested and they DID NOT lose by 3, in fact they didnt concede a goal until kuz came on if i remember correctly.

footballs a game of opinions, not everyone is gonna be right, but next time think twice before making bold statements like "your logic is flawed" and that "team would concede 3" , i dont remember seeing the team commit suicide either, quite the opposite.

lets thank the boss mancini too for picking the team that helped put the keyboard warrior in his place for once too.

ciao

Excellent 1st half. Meh 2nd half. Campa is fucking cancer as a fullback.

Highlight of the game, and life in general in 2015, was Mancio taking that Kuz pass to his mug. His reaction was gold too.

Just fyi it was Andreolli. There has been some confusion, some publications saying hernanes (who I thought it was at first), some saying Kuz. Upon further inspection you can clearly see the armband.

At least we're sure it wasn't Guarin. He would've hit someone in the stands instead. :yao:

Yeah it was Andreolli, was there really any doubt?
Well, maybe I didn't had a doubt because my dad repeat the scene like 5 times. lol.

To be more precise, a good coach. The mancio effect is in full throttle.

Even with the same players you see an amazing difference in both mental aspect as the execution of his ideas.

Meanwhile Lionheart is still convinced that changing coaches has no effect. He pops up only when the team has a bad game and repeats how we shouldn't have sacked Mazzarri.
