MILAN – "I went through a bad spell from a physical point of view after the match at Parma, but today I'm pleased I was in the team and that I played from the very start of the match." This is what Houssine Kharja said on Inter Channel. "Today was very hot but we really wanted to win. We know the team that won the title isn't the best team, but we'll stick to our path and make progress there."
The conversation turned to what the best position on the pitch is for the French-Moroccan midfielder who admitted: "
I'm here on loan and we'll have to see if the club intends to renew my contract for next season. What more can I say than that? I'm totally in Leonardo's hands; whenever he needs me, I can play in whatever role he wants me to. Today I think I played well. I enjoyed it;
I like running, helping out in midfield as well as in attack. It wasn't easy but we showed them how good we are. I'm glad I'm playing alongside skilful players like these, they make life so much easier for you because they are great professionals."
Finally Kharja looked back over his time as a Nerazzurri and confessed that "
the best moment at Inter was the day I signed the contract. Every day I spend here is wonderful, because it's not really just a club, it's more like a family and I'm really happy to be part of it."
