Thuram is gradually improving every game and he really made the difference today, was always dangerous, fantastic header on our opening goal, created a penalty but finishing product lacks quality.

Sommer is looking better as well far more secure on the ball with better passes and he has been good on the line so far.

Arna has been mixed, was rather invisible today but the game was as good as over so hard judging him.

Cuadrado was bad, constantly lost the ball, stupid decisions, passes where lacking quality he did nothing that convinced me about why we got him.. he did make a good pass to Martinez on the final goal but it’s almost entirely also the positive he contributed with so far.

Carlos Augusto and Frattesi has been a bit mixed show promises but also clear they have not gelled entirely into the team yet. I’m sure they get better over time.

I think Cuadrado is one of the weak spots in our squad. I don't get why everyone is like he will bench Dumfries easily

He had a great assist to Lautaro. He is technically more sound than Dumfries, IMO.

You can tell from body language that Cuadrado feels nervous each time he comes in the game. I mean, he doesn't feel welcomed yet, so I think after some time he will be far more productive IMO.

It's not about being nervous or anything. He is washed up as a player. His last season was far from good and he is just giving the ball away too often. Also he is not reliable defensively. One good assist every few games doesn't compensate that

Arnautović, as an athlete, is an upgrade to Džeko. As a player, he isn't.

I get your point, but its also worth highlighting that he's the only keeper across the 5 big leagues who has yet to concede.

We can't hype a goalkeeper if he isn't here for at least 5 seasons. Those are special FIF rules.

Solid performance from the start to the end. It's impressive that we have not conceded a goal yet.

However, it's too early to make some general conclusions about the season or the new players.

Can’t really complain about the performance tonight, absolutely one of the best early of the season games we had in years. Solid, strong, football, where we put pressure on at the right moment are holding back in others. Defensive performances is just utterly solid and almost flawless, we been absolutely amazing defensively, a rather big improvement over what we performed same time last year.

But the amount of open chances we are wasting is a bit worrying, except Martinez who seem to almost turn everything into gold, absolutely world class performance he is putting up at the moment. He must have finally put all the critics too silence, there hardly a more in form attacker in Europe at the moment, a monster currently.

Mkhitaryan and Thuram both had an incredible performance. Yes Thuram should have scored 3 goal, but he also shown why he is a massive improvement over Dzeko and Lukaku, Fiorentina simply didn’t know how to handle him and he created that penalty by being at the right spot, but Inzaghi need to put him in some sort of camp on his finishing product.

I just don’t see how anyone can take Darmians spot at the moment, absolute power performance from him, hardly sat a foot wrong in the entire match.

Sommer passing is gradually improving, he take care of most of the chances and his reaction on the line has been absolutely solid so far.

Hakan is slotting in well on that regista role, a powerful penalty from him plus a good free-kick, can’t really complain over his performance tonight and he doesn’t make you miss Brozovic, as he has definitely filled up those shoes rather well.

Cuadrado is shit, yeah he made an assist but besides that he was horrible.

Bossed Fiore all around. It could been easily 7-0 . Great game by everyone- The defense was rock solid. The midfield was great with very quick turn around and direct play. Totally canceled Fiore which is a really good team and won't be easy for anyone. Lautaro and Thuram- sweet!
They start to connect and the Thuram assist to Toro was great.
It is really very early but this team just looks different and I seen the good times and the bad but this team reminds me a bit Mourinhos team on the attitude side( very different in playing style). You just feel by the attitude of the players that no matter what they gonna win and even if not, you will have to put your blood and sweat to get a point from them. If Inzaghi will be able to maintain this attitude we will run for the 20th.

Watched the game again, great display by everyone. We often forget that it’s not easy to score 4 goals against Serie A opponents, let alone Fiore who’s one of our bogey teams.

Unlike many games last year, we played the last 3 games with urgency.

Really impressed by the stats that we had only 39% possession but still had 21 attempts today.

Kudos to the whole team and management!

Last season, Lukaku, Dzeko and Correa scored a total of 22 league goals. I personally think Thuram may come close to 15 himself. Arna and Sanchez may contribute the rest although as most have said the midfield’s potential to score is greater this season. At this rate Toro should also score more across all comps.

The defense looks solid too so far - and that’s without Pavard, our marquee signing.

Saying all that there may come a day we’ll play poorly, may make silly mistakes, and be very frustrating. That shouldn't mean we abandon the process and think the team has turned to shit. Like I said it’s not easy to beat teams in Serie A even the ‘lower tier’ ones..
