I'm all for playing Gag and Vecino plenty of minutes in next games so we can sell both in the summer.

The problem with Cagliari going down is that we'll have nowhere to offload Nainggolan this summer. It's going to end up being a golden handshake.

The Brozovic-Vecino-Gagliardini trio gave flashbacks to drawing 1-1 against SPAL under Spalletti. Never again please.

Don't forget that midfield started in the 4-1 rape against Atalanta. Did Vecino even do anything today?

if that is a ugly win then every 1-0 is a ugly win. We had good chance to score, the victory was deserved. The only ugly thing i saw is Cagliaris perfomance. They played almost ultra offensive football against Juve and against Inter they defended with 9 players and made only ball possesion. I never saw Cagliari playing, only the last 10 minutes. Get the fuck out of Serie A.

But back to the chances: Eriksen had 2 great shots, Sensi too. Let's also not forget the 2 missed pass from Sanchez or the "almost header-goal" from Skriniar. Sure our perfomance was nothing special, but it's difficult against such defending teams.

This was never an ugly win, more of a 'why the hell didn't we score more than one' type of win

our opponents in the last 3 games: Bologna, Sassuolo and Cagliari. I think it is worth to mention that we lost scudetto one year ago, because of these teams. We failed to win over them in second part of the season.
Before covid-break there was Cagliari at home. We dominated them and we had a lot of good chances, but we scored only one goal. Then there was a reflected shot by Radja and Cagliari get one point from San Siro.
Then there was Sassuolo match and we conceded the goal in the injury time.
Against Bologna there was 1:0 for Inter, we had a penalty and Bologna got a red card, but finally we lost that game.

That's why I think it's great achievement to win all of these games. There is right mentality implemented by Conte and we improved a lot during this season.

PREACH! Comparing last season to this one is very appropriate here, precisely for the exact reason you mentioned.

Cagliari played wisely. It doesn't make any sense to give space for Lukaku up front, that's why they had to just defend deep. Lukaku was pretty helpless throughout the match. And still he managed to contribute eventually with the holdup and key pass to Hakimi for the incoming goal.

That was a deserved win. Cagliari did nothing except the typical long range bomb from Nainggolan. We had a few good chances and controlled the game. Happy for Hakimi. Hopefully that assist gets him going again. 11 straight and lo scudetto is in our sights. Let’s savour every moment.

We also make much less big mistakes than last season and start of this season! We still need to score more of those changes we create... But overall team seems to be at good shape physically and mentally and professional behavior is back at Inter with help of Marotta and Conte! It is looking good and I hope we can continue this path!

that's true.. in the last games i always was "here we go again" when it's still 0-0 after the first half. It feels like watching Inter-Shaktar and many other games we already saw. But the team seems to be improved on this. With the right subs and right team spirit we never stopped playing and found always a solution to score. They always are searching going for a good chance instead off wasting it with impossibile shots. If you noticed we never try a shot outside the box for example, yesterday it was the first time we had more then 2 shot outside in a game. But i think it was right to do this, Cagliari was defending really deep..

Plus De Vrij header that hit the post.

LoL at Darmian getting MOTM, especially since he wasn't good as a RWB, he got better as a LWB

And De Vrij collectively getting less than a 8, even less than a 7. What fucking game where you watching, FIF? Wake up. Without a world class defence we would still be fighting for a top4 finish.

Wake up from what? People have always been voting for:
1) Their favorite players
2) The people who gets on the scoresheet

This is the reality. I remember when Inter.it had player ratings, we'd all give 10s to everyone if we won, and you'd see a bunch of 1s or 5s if the result was bad  This isn't as terrible.
