Very poor match for both teams..1st half was boring, Bayern played cowardly with little ambition to attack while Inter just couldn't create anything useful..This agony continued in the 2nd half until Zlatan stupidly got sent off..After that, most of us could've guessed what is going to happen..

I must say tonight Inter looked like a team full of frustrated idiots..Grosso was perfect example, the moment he elbowed Sagnol, knew he was going to be sent off..Pathetic..Zlatan, well, just as I thought he finally improved after reading your comments of previous matches, immediately denied it on the pitch..He was awful and the red card was just the icing on the cake of his tonight's performance..

Thumbs up for Dacourt and Zanetti, the rest weren't good..Refereeing was ok, nothing much to add for Bayern..They seem worse than last year, Ballack leaving was a big loss for them..

Inter lost, but still with a chance for the 2nd place..Two wins against Spartak are absolutely necessary for any calculation, it'll be interesting to see whether Inter can bounce back..

All this stories around us last couple of days are took a part in this defeat. I don't want to defend nobady but we played without Samuel,Cambiasso and Viera and Bayern was almost complette.

Before 58th min, we lacked creativity, i don't think we will gain it by playing Cambiasso or Viera!!!!
I jst hope for different mentality and attitude!!!

It's disgusting to lose to suck a side.Did this bayern side have any quality to beat us?no skill,no combination, nothing!
even we were down to 9 men bayern didn't create any real chance.
How can we lose to such a side?!
Mancini is a chicken. He rated bayern too high and instructed his team to get a draw.He instruct his team to give away midfield and attack with long ball.
Mancini is not a newbie anymore and I hope he can learn from this and don't make the same mistake again. We still have chance and I believe We can thrash Bayern in their own side.
And I must say all bayern players are great actors including their coach and I wish they would be awarded a Oscar, especially makkay. They exaggerate every contact and pretend to be very painful. It's so disgusting and they take away all my respect for them.

Today Inter and I mean players, coaches and fans had a really bad night, I caught some extended highlights and I think that we could have killed the game in the beginning of the second half, I think, when Crespo had a big chance with "only" Kahn to beat.

We didn't, and we lost by two defensive mistakes that seem to happen every day in our defence, I'm sorry for Cordoba I really like him but that "gift" was too much.

Now with 4 games to play I want 12 points!!! No more mistakes, no more chances this is it or we do it or we don't and if we can't then lets just concentrate in getting the Scudetto.

What to say about Mancini, I don't blame him for the defeat, but I can't help to wonder that if we had a different coach how different this could have been.

It was a disastrous night, no doubt. However there are genuine reasons for it:

- We were playing a proven European performer in Bayern. They have the score on the board, whereas we haven't won anything of note for years. Don't underestimate just how good they are.

- We were without the engine of the team in Cambiasso, and Vieira. Take any two starting central midfielders out of a team, and they'll struggle.

- Dacourt tried admirably, but he needs a rest, and JZ is not a defensive midfielder. Basically, we played with a make-shift midfield.

- Zlatan's first yellow card was incredibly stupid, the second one wasn't as bad, but he still probably deserved it. We were never going to win when he was sent off.

- The game was effectively over when Grosso was sent-off. It had no bearing on the result. Very silly from Fabio. If you're going to elbow someone, at least do some damage. It was the biggest pussy elbow i've ever seen. I'm surprised Scholl didn't cry with laughter. Go take lessons from De Rossi and Matrix if you want to hurt someone!

- Funnily enough, we really miss Cruz and Recoba. We seem to be really struggling for quality subs.

I'm quite confident that we'll still make it through to the next stage. As long as our injured players recover, we should improve enough to beat Lisbon at home, and do the double against the Russians.

NON MOLLARE MAI!

This is funny! You lost your respect for Bayern because they beat you?? Pathetic! Inter players lay on the ground just as much as anyone else. Maybe not tonight, but certainly in other games. So don't blame the Germans for your loss.

You people tend to think that you have the strongest squad in the world. Wrong again. There is no creativity in your "fantastic" Inter. You put all your hopes in a 34yo Figo who isn't even a playmaker, but is forced to play in that position. It is obvious that he will never be consistent or brilliant behind the forwards. After all.....He has been a winger his whole life. After him, your attacking hopes lie in an average Solari, Gonzales and Stankovic. I don't even know why you keep mentioning Vieira and Cambiasso. They might help you not to lose.....but they wont help you to win. What I mean by that is that they are not the offensive minded creative type of midfielders. Cambiasso is a great player.....but if you kneel in front of him to give you creativity then you guys will wait for that forever.......and it wont come.

What else were you expecting from Ibrahimovic. A good player....but no brain. All he is going to produce is fights in the locker room and red cards. When you think about it......he canceles his good performances with his attitude that might cost Inter a lot now. I concider the away games in Russia some of the most difficult and if you guys think that the next two games are the easiest games of the group you are in for a surprize. I don't see Inter coming out of Russia with more then a point, which will only complicate things even more. And not just Inter, I dont expect any team in the world to go to Moscow and beat Spartak. It is always a very very tough game. The easiest away game was against Sporting and Inter blew it. They have nobody to blame but themselves. Not Bayern, Not Sporting and not the Refferies.

I am being realistic here and am not saying this just because I am a Milan fan. Blame the managment for throwing out millions on players you really did not need.

Didn't you see the game?If not you should shut up.
Didn't you see Bayern players did all they can to influence the referee from the first minute and Magath was always complaining even when the referee's decision was in favor of them.Didn't you see makkay put his hand over his face and lay on the ground but dacourt didn't touch his face at all?Are you blind or something?also incluing their genaral manager,He is complaining too when grosso is sent off.
We didn't play well but we still create 3 golden chances. How can you say we can't beat bayern with this squad?are you blind or something?with you fool so called "average players" we beat roma and create many chances.
anyway it's useless to argue with a bilan fan

I know today's game was not something that was within our expectations, but I don't think ppl realize that Cuchu, Recoba and Cruz have injuries, Samuel on flu, and Deki picked up something that looked as a muscular injury. 5 player down, with 2 questionable red card.
I'm not saying a lose is something that is acceptable, but I don't think this should be used to bash Mancini or other players.

Okay, what a dreadful performance but the key is not to panic and thats what some of the team did today (of all people Crespo, incredible).

Some notes that need to be taken.

First of all, we can't keep making excuses for ourselves, we always say that this time its true, perhaps, there is no doubting that Sagnol should've been sent off after he hacked down Mariano after been given a warning when bringing Zanetti down, and there is no doubting that at some cases a tackle like Scholls (think of the surroundings, no danger, near corner flag) would also recieve a read and so forth but whats done is done and we can only take control of our team and our decisions.

notes have to be taken about every single player in the team, it is only fair. Not ratings, notes, general notes about the season ahead.

Julio Cesar: Not many are doubting that he is a good keeper, but he is too unique and that is a bad thing unfortunately. He can make some unusual saves but does not do the basics correctly. He needs to improve, rather he MUST improve that mental area of his game on what needs to be done and when.
Not to blame but close to it.

Maicon: Has proved a decent buy, needs time and is not to blame.

Cordoba: Not to blame but once again a very stupid error, lousyness, he didn't care and we know it. What he needs to do is to step in for his team, when Materazzi is being attacked by 4 Bayern players, all I saw was Javier Zanetti trying to push them away, god what we could've done with a Vieira today (physically and mentally).
On the edge, cannot afford more errors.

Samuel: didn't play today but is also on the edge, needs to be more consistent and needs to return to the old Samuel, when I mean old Samuel, I don't mean ability, because he has not lost it, I mean the physical and mental toughness nature of his game, he's turned into a nancy boy and someone needs to bang his head against the wall and make him wake up. Samuel & Materazzi can work, but they need concentration and teamwork, they could've murdered Bayern today.

Materazzi: Good effort, did nothing wrong, I need to see his challenge again but I wouldn't criticise it one bit, he showed toughness and I loved his control but he really needed to show Pizzaro who's boss, nothing stupid just some more solidity.

Grosso: this needs to be addressed, the only decent game he has played this season was at left midfield. He is a World Cup Champion and not many times do I say this but deserves more time to get used to it @ Inter and his red was just out frustration for what Scholl did. Needs to keep his cool and his position needs to be analysed.

Figo: Done, over, either play him on the right and lets take advantage of the width he provides or nothing at all. The key here is that if the opposition plays a pressing and challenging tactic where they pressure us the moment we enter their half, Figo will not work.

J.Zanetti: needs to be played in his natural position, we need his cool and calm head. Does not have creativity and it showed, played a good game however. Tick, not to blame.

Stankovic: Was playing a decent game but once again creatity lacked, so unfortunate that he got injured as he definetely would've shown some fighting spirit. Will definetely be out for 3 or 4 weeks, hamstrings are bad, unlucky as he was getting into form.
Like Cordoba, on the edge however.

Dacourt: Not to blame, tick.

Ibrahimovic: no one doubts his talent but once again when you join a new club, you need a new attitude, what he did today should not be letten go of, the club should make an example out of him and fine and let him know.

Crespo: also, at a new club he cannot afford to waste chances and he did today. Not to blame however, tick.

Solari: needs more time and I could'nt give a sh1t about who plays nowdays, but Solari needs more time and has to prove himself immediately again, cannot take as long as last season.
One the edge.

Mariano: Simple, not Inter standard, it can be seen.

Burdisso: needs to prove himself, could be the X factor, could be the ideal partner for Materazzi as he doesn't have brain explosions and does have pace and coolness. I've honestly seen enough of him to see his quality, needs to improve his awareness and physical attributes and he's fine.

Maxwell: he's talked about a lot, how about we see him? I have no doubts that we will see him soon and he needs to establish himself as quickly as the likes of Solari and co do again this season.

Adriano: I believe and I can wait another 1-2 months for him to recover and I believe he will. But be quick and please go on a diet Adri, the team needs you more than ever because he can bring creativity from nothing.

Inter in general: teams have worked us out, the decent teams atleast, if you pressure Inter in the middle of the park and as soon as they enter your half, they're done and they either depend on a cutting pass (which does not happen often because we don't have a #10) or long balls. There is no connection between the midfield and the attack, something needs to be done.

at the moment, that leaves this team:

X
Zanetti X Materazzi X
X Vieira Cambiasso X
Crespo X

that is a very worrying to have that many question marks.

taking everything possible into account, this has got to be the Inter team as only this team can take us into the next round and a chance in Moscow, Serie A, Munich and Sporting again.

Toldo
Zanetti Burdisso Materazzi Maxwell
Stankovic Vieira Cambiasso Grosso
Crespo Ibrahimovic

Adriano, Solari, Figo as the main subs. you need balance and consistency in selection and performance.

This game was a nightmare to watch and experience but as the dust has settled I have become calmer about things.

It was disappointing game today because you could tell from the first 10 minutes that there would be no cutting edge in our inter side today. I just could not see a goal coming from us. As the second half wore on I could tell Bayern were going to sneak a goal sooner or later.

A lot of players were disappointing today and it's fair to say that the team just did not show up.

Grosso and Ibrahimovic, two world class players, were most disappointing for their actions. They really let the team down when already had our backs against the wall. Grosso's elbow was plain stupid. Ibrahimovic is just a slav version of Rooney. I still like both of these players a lot though.

The rest of the team was below average but in football everyone has a bad game from time to time.

I am sure we will bounce back soon and I believe we will finish the group with 10 points.

We must win both games against Moscow. Win our home game against Sporting and at least get a draw away to Bayern to prove that they are not superior to us.

We will be fine. Uefa cup is pathetic for a squad of our calibre. We must make the 2nd round.

Shit happens.

If your missing your 2 main players in midfield then your going to struggle creating. That leaves Ibra and Crespo very isolated and frustrated.

All we can do is wait for them to come back and start from where we left off when Cambiasso was available.

You can clearly see the difference in tactics though, Mancini is very ameturish. Bayern looked very compact and they were set up very well tactically in pressuring our shitty and depleted midfield.

We need to win our next 2 games and I believe we can remotely easily.

No need to panic again, we could of easily won tonight with the chances we had, but we messed up.

THE biggest problem at Inter, is players thinking it ok to get red cards. Its an absolute joke. Vieira and Zlatan, pathetic when it comes to that. Juve fans must be laughing.

this match make me remembered when we lost tp arsenal 5-1 at san siro and we didnt make it to the 2nd round. i think inter's play well it just that bayern play dirty and that annoyed inter's players and me. well, they need to keep their head high and keep believing!
Forza Inter!

I wonder, when people say Inter will get 6 points vs Spartak. Yes, I do agree, that Spartak isn't that good, but:
1. You should have seen them in attack vs SC Portugal. Portugal side had a narrow escape from Luzhniki stadium. Though I hate those russian teams, but have to admit the fact, that Spartak could won 3-0.
2. Luzhniki has artificial pitch, which is hard to play on.
So, I hope we can get 4 points from Spartak, 3 - from SC Portugal...and wait for Bayern game

Benny, I'll admit it, I always have Stankovic under the microscope, more than any other player. It's because I always want him to do great, I am waiting for the 'real' Stan to show up 3-4 games in a row.

I said he was so disappointing, but he wasn't bad. He was much better than most of the players today. I don't know why, but I can't help it, I always want him to do exceptional and I am double disappointed when things don't go the right way for him.

I know it's unfair, but I think it's a case of tough love. The way he joined us (snubbing Juve, taking financial hit to join us) made me idolize this player, and that's why I watch his performances with a magnifying glass.

Great post and well-said. I don't blame J Cesar, but he is too 'unique' like you said and makes impossible saves but lacks basics.

J.Zanetti: Does not have creativity and it showed, played a good game however.

Well-said again, you put in words something that I couldn't express before. I love JZ and, just like Stan, my criticism of his stems from my high regard of his.

He was immense today at winning balls and going forward. However, he lacks creativity big time. I think I am asking too much of him, he isn't Superman after all.

Out of the Champions League after two rounds. Awesome...

Exactly. I happened to miss my class for this match. Too bad they showed it LIVE on tv, otherwise I wouldn't have cared to watch a shitt match like this.

It's still possible to get through this group but if we continue playing like this we won't even qualify for the UEFA Cup for sure.

Both Zlatan and Grosso's sending off were derserving for sure, so there's nothing to argue about it. May be Grosso could have been shown a yellow card there, but still ... :(

in other words..he's saying that milan are better managed team that we are...u gotta read between the lines...all coaches around europe laugh at our coach..that's the truth..i know it hurts..cuz i like mancini...but..we gotta be honest with ourselves if we want to fix something...we should we feared from our weaknesses..cuz then we will never fix them...truth hurts..

That's what I said there. He's right, coz Milan's definitely a better team than us as they have almost got the same set of players without much change.

I am not suprised or worried
I am used to this

Nothing new

We can't play like we can and could for a full season...
We can't do it in 3 games in a row actually

But I am not to say anything more, cause you know I am aginst Mancini allways, and against some players too
