I don't think so, take a look at the HSV or Real Madrid lineups, the half of the 11 are new players from this season.

I think thats a big part of the reason that HSV is bottom of their group in CL and doing so badly in Bundesliga.

Magath is spot on! It is never good to field 1000 new players every god damn season. By doing so you lose your cohesion and therefore lack a team spirit which is a huge disadvantage for us even before we start the season. Most other top teams that perhaps field 2 or a max number of 3 players in their starting 11 have surely an upper hand against us.

So yeah, to recuperate, I too would be more scared of Milan than us. That said we could still spank their ass back to Munich tonight, however the painful fact of bunch of new faces in our starting 11 would still remain.

Fully oftopic but gotta say this. So your'e basically saying we shouldn't have gotten rid of so many players, and we should play with squad consisting of 20 players with no-one replacing the leavers. Well lets have a look of the leavers shall we.

Kily.G: Gone because he wanted to, CRAP player.
Veron: Was offered a possibility to stay, decided to leave.
Favalli: Was offered a possibility to stay, decided to leave.
Pizarro: Was offered a possibility to stay, decided to leave.
C.Zanetti: Was offered a possibility to stay, decided to leave.
Wome: We should have kept a shitty player like he is?
Mihajlovic: Retired, thank god.
ZeMaria: Just not skilled enough for Inter.
Martins: Would we see him alot if he had stayed? No.

It's hard to do anything with no-one coming in and all those going off. What can we do about players wanting to leave and players who just are too shit to play for this club? I think all of us agree that getting Grosso is way better to see Cesar playing just for the sake that he was here last season.

A few comments:
Pizzaro: Mancio said he will not play, offered possibility, but will not play only as a sub.
Wome: I had no problem with him staying
Ze Maria: We have Maicon

Well Alvaro, I know what you mean, but we shouldn't have gotten those players to start with. If we fixed the problems once and for all, instead of half-solutions, then we won't have to change every year.

I kind of understand what Magath said, but like Marti mentioned, it's like an unwritten rule that you have to respect your opponent.

I think we have a good squad and I can't understand why people are making an issue about that!

The only negavtive thing about our squad is the lack of playmaker that dectates our game or an insperational leader that can left our team when much needed. Having said that, I still believe that we can do if we played as a TEAM and not just eleven INDIVIDUALS.

On tonights game, I think that Inter should not think that this match is a "do or die" game and must approach it calmly. Bayern are relaxed having won their first game comprehansively and could hit us hard on the counter if we go crazy and attacked them hard. I think we mustn't rush things and alot of patience is needed for games like that. After all we are playing against a European giant that deserves respect and has bigger history than ours.

Forza Inter per simpre!

I don't understand the pic, u mean those 3 players look passive?

I would like to do a good CL (difficult to win it), but i care more about Serie A this year, and the bad news about today match could be that if we draw or lose maybe this have a bad effect in the Serie A, TODAY IS A MUST WIN.....

Is something wrong with Samuel is he injured or something? I ask because he isn't even on the bench (Toldo, Maxwell, Adriano, Burdisso, Solari, Andreolli, Gonzalez).

About the lineup, my only doubt is Figo's form at the moment, however if we have the Figo of the big nights it's going to be very good for us, also I'm a bit disappointed to see Adriano back to the bench, but Ibrahimovic has been doing well also.

EDIT: Samuel has the flu. Get well fast!!!

If Dacourt can keep van Bommel out of the match then we can win. He is alone in our defensive midfield but I think his performance is crucial. Looking at what uefa.com is saying Bayern has the same formation as us going into the match but we have a stronger player in every position except for Kahn and Sagnol.

Good stuff this is exactly the result i wanted although 0-0 would have been better but a draw is good. As a side note we are going to have to be very careful when we go to Russia as they were annhilating Sporting, absolutely hammering them into the ground and the Sporting goal was a fluke. We are going to have to go in there and impose our game but be careful. I actually fear going to Russia more than Germany at this point.

As for this game too bad about Samuel but I dont think he was scheduled to start this one anyway. If all goes well Burdisso should get some time in this one as the Matrix is still not fully over his injury.

Lahm, Sagnol, and Schwienstiger (sp?) are going to be clutch for them shut them down and we will have a much easier time of it. I hope that the team was watching the tapes cause Bayern and germans in general love the outside shooting game and with a shaky keeper like Cesar out there we are going to have to be very careful about what sort of openings we give them.

Dacourt is going to have to be a monster in this one the Matrix is currently great when he only has to deal with defensive line duties but when he has to break line to cover up a hole left by an advanced midfielder we are going to be screwed cause it will result in a foul.

FORZA INTER!!!!
