Lautaro was a little rusty tonight, but still walking and running greatness, but Arnautovic is 35 and been rusty all his life.

13 shots, 4 on target, 55 % possession, 90% pass accuracy, 5 offsides and 3 corners. A Surprisedly easy victory albeit a relatively injure riddled Atalanta with lots of new players. Well done and a statement win.

Football need to switch back to 3 substitutes max. Way too many changes. Game loses it's scheme.

It’s natural, used to be 1, then 3, then 5.
Bench of 5 then 7, now 11/12?
More games, more rest, more adventures on changing style in game.

Tbh I like it. 5 substitues is nice. The season is long and when you run for 90 minutes a game for 30+ games I'll take a few extra subs to give some guys a rest. The cooling break is weird imo but whatevs.

I didn't expect such a dominance by our team. Not much else to be said, as result speaks itself.

Lautaro not 100% yet. Hopefully he unlocks himself in the next match. Thuram outstanding. And of course that Barella goal was a poetry in motion.

Super Thuram. He's on fire till now, even against lecce where he don't scored he still was impressive and also at the euro i really liked him. They are idiots for not playing him from start.

I'd say that our goals were lucky, but Atalanta were really poor as well, and that helped us a lot. It seems they had no spirit for this game, and honestly they are full with mediocre players. Retegui, Samardzic, the other guy upfront, their wingbacks, Pashalic, the defense.

Don't have one.
Great game tbh. Biggest takeaway for me, I think we can count on acerbi this season as well. He had a monstrous game tonight. That doesn't look like a player in massive decline like I feared before the season started.

Every time he steps on the pitch he proves even further just how overrated Skriniar was.

Just finished watching the match. Not quite perfect, but pretty damn close. We had a 10-15 minute spell where we were conceding too many shots and crosses after Retegui had his initial chance, but after that it was really only one way. If I have one main criticism of the team, it’s that we’re conceding too many crosses and shots from dangerous positions for a side that aims to be truly dominant. Still, can’t complain too much. We’re in great shape for match day 3. Even if Atalanta were a bit off today, no one in serie A is coming close to our level if we play like this; I don’t care what juve manage to put together this season. There’s no contest.

The way we move the ball is pure poetry at times. Everyone knows exactly what they have to do at all times and you can really tell. Barella, Thuram, and Pavard completely possessed today. Long live Inzaghi-ball!!!

I'm gonna give props to Acerbi this time. Gave him 8/10.

Those runs forward were confusing the shit out of me tho.

Another great showing by Calha and Barella. Calha almost scored a scorcher
