This game was trash I cant believe we won.

I NEVER want to see bisseck and darmian on the left together. Two right footed players in LCB and LWB is a catastrophe. No width and theyre easily cornered into giving away possession. Thats what ruined any attacking potential we had.

Defensively they were awesome.

It was a defensive masterclass. In the end the points are what matter. And Inzaghi probably learns something from this game, and the team too. But the most important thing is the result, specially as the lineup was so random, Inzaghi clearly having the weekend game in his mind. Which was a correct call now that we analyze it afterwards.

Two things can be true. It was a completely underwhelming performance in many ways, which was to be expected with so many reserves out there. We were also excellent defensively and while Arsenal had a ton of set pieces, they had very few excellent chances. This felt more like last season's version of Inter.

I'll take the smash and grab victory. We're well rested for the Napoli match. We're in the driver's seat to make the UCL top eight.

Nothing but positives to take away from this one.

I know today's Arsenal was a little more short-handed in the absence of Rice along with Odegaard, but this Arsenal have only scored 20 goals in 14 games this season (league + CL) and three goals in their last five games. They're deeply underwhelming to begin the season.

But that's not to take away from us. We're one half of madness against Juve away from being on a 9-game winning streak (both comps) with six clean sheets in that span. Even if the games haven't seemed very pleasant at times, there's something to be said about still getting results. We have every reason to believe our best football is still ahead of us. Getting a clean sheet against a club of Arsenal's stature is something that is hopefully going to be a boon for someone like Bisseck who's had his struggles but was immense today. Have to acknowledge the good if we're going to acknowledge the bad.

The players are tired - ours, and all other big clubs’. You can see that in their play and attitude. Many top players have already missed numerous games due to the work load related injuries. Lauti has been playing almost nonstop for over 2 years, and next year with CWC, he once again won’t have a proper summer break and I suppose will look even more tired next season.

Keeping that in mind, and the way we play vertically especially with an average age in high 20’s, we have to rotate heavily. From that perspective, Inzaghi is doing a good job. If we can continue to grind out results, even if not playing pretty, we may come out on top as most other top clubs have busy schedules too.
