Gigantic win tbh. I wrote a couple of weeks ago that I suspect our biggest problem in defense this season is individual concentration and motivation, and so far our run in cl proofs that. For me, it's more than obvious this season our players simply have bigger erection when playing cl compared to domestic league. Hopefully inzaghi gives them viagra or something for the league games

In the end, Bisseck was our best CB, first half De Vrij. Pavard had too many mistakes, I'm starting to lose faith in him.

Thuram is more out of form than Lautaro.

Calhanoglu and Darmian are battling it out for the MOTM.

Inzaghi saw only our defence could win this one, good on him to see that.

Double marking Saka was a good idea, because even double marked he still had good passes and crosses. Luckily Havertz played most of the match.

I was hoping for Bastoni but there wasn't a point in getting another CB in. Then I expected Dumfries out for Dimarco and switch Darmian, but Saka got shellshock every time he was doubled by Darmian so that didn't make sense either

If only we had another forward instead of Correa that could have been used there.

This game was trash I cant believe we won.

I NEVER want to see bisseck and darmian on the left together. Two right footed players in LCB and LWB is a catastrophe. No width and theyre easily cornered into giving away possession. Thats what ruined any attacking potential we had.

Defensively they were awesome.
