The goal was a pure beauty because it takes a lot of skill to execute that kind of shot while the ball is still bouncing. I mean, it's nothing out of this world, but still it's difficult because it takes a perfect timing between power and technique. But other than the goal, he was also excellent in the game in overall.

Plays it simple and doesn't overthink, that's his biggest strength. Sometimes when we have the midfield trio of brozo, barella and hakan we choke the ball a little too much for my liking, so he brings nice balance with that aspect of his game.

Hopefully the injury is nothing serious, he is in my book one of the best signings of the season, especially coz we got him for free.

Mkhitaryan had been one of those who was expected to rest against Udinese, but the 34-year-old seems to never run out of energy:

I am ready to play every game, if the coach decides that I play, then I play, if not then I sit on the bench and cheer on my teammates. We are a team, it doesn’t matter who plays, as long as we all contribute.” - Mkhitaryan.

He’s also 34 starting almost every fixture since the World Cup finished. Much like Dzeko, his minutes need to be spread out.
