I am still waiting Inter to beat a top team, beside 1-0 Barca in group stage 2022.

All the others were "lose convincingly" at best. Top5?!? Please, prove it on the field first.
Liverpool Inter 0-1 2022
Inter - Atletico 1-0 2024
City - Inter 0-0 2024 (I know, not a win, but not a "lose convincingly" either.

So "lose convincingly at best" was rare. Perhaps last time it was against Bayern Munich in the group stage 2022/2023 (2-0 twice). The final we lost to City was 1-0. While Calhanoglu exaggerates, there's no need to exaggerate the complete opposite of what he says.

I mean "Lose but play convincingly" at best lol. Inter vs Athletico was a lost overall. Inter vs Liverpool was a lost overall too. I count Barca because it was a draw and a win in group stage, so winning overall.

Tell me without googling which top team we beated beside Barca and in which year?

Face the fact bro. The fact was that we were weaker than Atletico last year with the "top5" hype too. It was proven on the field.

"Weaker" is an extreme oversell of the situation. It was 2-2 decided on penalty kicks. I won't mention chances we spurned in the 1st leg because that's entirely our fault, but penalties are practically coin flips in many ways, and the consensus view entering the R16 was that Inter-Atleti was the most 50/50 tie. No outcome there would've been a surprise.

Beside incompetence in finishing, sucking in spot is also our weaker thing too. We simply didn't have enough cold-blooded in our team.

Penalty kick is not even close to coin flip or 50-50. Between Lautaro PK versus Hakan PK...huge difference.

That's not what it seemed you were saying though tbh, lose convincingly means to lose by a lot like 4-0, 5-0.

You said "beat", not eliminate.

English is not my first language teacher. Sorry if that's still unclear even after I clarify my thoughts.

I always think knockout stage is a direct clash, 180+ minutes, and "beat" means you knock them out. But we didn't.

Exactly. We still haven’t taken a big scalp in Champions league since Bayern in 2011

Id start Barella at holding mid again or hell give Asllani a game if hes healthy. Hakan can come in at minute 60 and get half an hour to prepare for Arsenal. Need him healthy for both Arsenal and Napoli.

That happens on a lot trainings, nothing to worry about. As long as he can play, that is all that matters
