Literally everyone we've tried in his position doesn't seem to be effective. I'd say Barella is a better passer than him and he failed to make a big impact.

He's what I call an "Inzaghi DM": a box-to-box player playing in front of defence. I really never thought of him and Brozo as registas. To me registas are Pirlo and Busquets.

The issue though is we've become so reliant on this specific player in a specific position, the formation doesnt seem to work without him, and it's hard to see who would really replace his attributes.

If we had a normal healthy owner we would have now both Hakan and Brozo in squad, Zielinski and Mhiki for LCM , and Barella and Fratessi as RCM. But we are stuck with Asslani now. You cant play always same 11 but our bench option are so mediocre that every time they enter the pitch our whole system collapse.
