Is he worth that? If there's other club willing to give him 6M that mean he is worth that.. But i think Inter are more hoping someone are willing to buy Brozovic for like +30M and give Hakan like 5.5M + Add on.. and buy someone cheap as a back up..

Absolutely, but I mean for us is he worth it? Can we afford to have him as one of our top earners. Maybe he is because he has been super key in a lot of the good things we've done this season.

If we gonna sell Brozo, it makes sense to agree for 6 mln with Hakan, but otherwise no.

The same shit will happen I fear. Why the potential next team doesn't pay Hakan e.g. 10m signing bonus instead of paying 40m to Inter?

Either we have to sell him for peanuts (not enough for a decent replacement) OR enjoy his final year of service while hoping nobody else will offer more. In the unfortunate case, well, you know, Skriniar-bis.

This scenario will continue as long as we are poor. Look at Milan; they lost Donna Hakan and Kessie for free but still, they dunno how to handle Leao's contract. Neither do we for Hakan's. Both managements are not that stupid to commit the same mistake thrice or quarce; but the real problem lies at the owner when applying a salary cap.

1m increase is peanut in term of budgeting. As long as he doesn't demand a hefty signing on fee (which he of course will, lmao), I don't see why they can't come up with something agreeable to both parties.
