Considering the talent that Klinnsmann had to work with, I'm not complaining one bit. I was one of those who felt pretty negative when the draw happened, but I'm happy they played above what a lot of people expected. I saw a team who looked decent defensively most of this world cup. Can't say I've seen that very often.

I'm going to say false. With that being said, it does generate some interest by surviving the group of death. It will never pass other sports though... not with the crap quality that MLS is.

lol CMON man! Portugal limped into the World Cup so badly, literally the FINAL european slot. And Ronaldo has been struggling with injuries the entire lead up to the world cup.

I mean tbh I felt like 5 or 6 of the 8 groups were very difficult to get out of because every single team could pull out a win.
