Well deserved. This fucking defensive football by Iran should not deserve a point in this game.

Iran absolutely deserved to even win this game. On one side, you have Argentina which has unarguably the most furious attack on paper of all participating teams in WC, & then there is Iran, the absolute underdog. The balance could not have been more uneven. Given these circumstances the underdog is absolutely entitled to use any strategy they see fit to avoid getting crushed.

When you're having a boxing match between the Hulk & a little crippled kid, you can't criticize the kid for not going all out there attacking. & lets not forget despite all that, Iran was the better team in the second half, were robbed by a 100% penalty & had solid scoring chances.

Iran has been staying at an airport hotel, they have to do a 2 hour bus drive every day to get to their training ground. Whereas Argentina is probably staying at the best villas & are treated as kings.

It's a difference to play in Nou Camp with 10 men a defensive football (3-1 won the first game) than playing the whole world cup 1-10-0-0 formation. Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with the country, but with the football stile.

There is difference between Iranian football quality and Argentina football too so you shouldn't blame Iran.
Iran could attack Argentina but get thrashed on the counter.Being a good loser for spectators is not what professional managers(except Zeman )are after.Also Iran played relatively well on the counter against the quality players Argentina had.

They were playing with fucking Argentina, with dozens of world class strikers. It's not like they didn't try to counter attack Argentina and try to win the game, they did.
