Voted for Italy and Belgium but could totally see them both choking horrendously and the other two going through.

All will depend on who's getting called up at the Euros. Personally, I'd prefer to keep Benteke as far away from Belgium as possible and call up Lukaku, Batshuayi and Depoitre as strikers

Perhaps go for this line-up

------------------------ Courtois
Alderweireld - Kompany --- Denayer - Vertonghen
------------ Nainggolan ----- Kums (just because he's awesome)/ Witsel
Hazard ---------------- De Bruyne -------- Carrasco
-------------------------- Batshuayi

Wow you think Belgium won't start Lukaku? Especially if he keeps up the form he's been in so far this season?

Even if he does, he is still by far your best CF. No way he doesnt start.

Carrasco tho. What a beast he is turning into :notbad: And you also have Mignolet, Mertens, Mirallas, Chadli, Fellaini, Dembele, and few other great players as backup.

Batshuayi is more complete than Lukaku, especially technically.

I thought Lukaku was good internationally and bad for his club. It turns out it's the exact opposite.

GK: Courtois, Mignolet & Jean-François Gillet -> ( :palm:)
Defenders: Alderweireld, Boyata, Denayer, Engels, Lombaerts, Jordan Lukaku, Meunier, Vermaelen, Vertonghen.
Midfield: Dembélé, Fellaini, Nainggolan, Witsel, De Bruyne
Attack: Batshuayi, Benteke, Carrasco, E.Hazard, R.Lukaku, Mertens, Origi.

Back up list in case of injuries: Chadli, Ciman, De Bock, G.Gillet, T.Hazard, Mirallas, Matz Sels

Some surprises, and some fuck ups by Wilmots. The dude always chooses his favorites like Gillet, Meunier, Benteke. Anyway what's Boyata doing on that list? He isn't that great at all. Vermaelen shouldn't be called either, he hasn't played 2 games in a row since his first year at Arsenal. Benteke should't be called up either. He is just in pure form this year. No Kums is just fucked up.

--------------------------------- Courtois
Denayer ------ Alderweireld ----------- Vertonghen ----- J. Lukaku
-------------------------------- Witsel
------------------- Nainggolan -------- De Bruyne
Carrasco -------------------- R. Lukaku ------------------- Hazard

The fullbacks are more than ever the weakpoint. I'd keep the Tottenham duo as central defenders. Denayer has the speed to play as RB. But offensive he won't contribute much.

In keeping with his policy of calling up everyone possible, Martin O'Neil has named a 35 man provisional squad.

The 12 players cut will most likely be:
Westwood
McShane (shouldn't be in the provisional at all)
Pearce
Wilson (injured all year but our terrible LB options may see him sneak in)
Gibson
O'Kane (good player but unlikely to be called up)
Hayes
O'Dowda (never heard of him until this morning)
Doyle
McGoldrick
Arter (potentially the best midfielder we have but has always been injured for friendlies, if he comes I'll be delighted)
Pilkington

Why not play Vertonghen at LB and Denayer or Vermaelen at CB?
