its the weather man...people of south american/african descent have much more heat tolerance... i think its safe to say finland wouldnt be doing too well here if they were qualified (although africans team have been playing like shit too?)

spain would have never been dsq in normal room temp/slightly below room temp.

I thought Spain would have thrived, but yeah I agree about the climate and the support too.. Heck Australia even played sick this year, and all South American teams are killing it (bar Brazil and Argentina, but that should change)

Right now in Salvador where the game is being held temperature is 27, humidity 65% and its cloudy and a bit windy. This type of weather is normal in Europe.

I don't think it would fail tbh. This type of technology is pretty well known here as it is used everywhere for cooling. The problem is the heat outside which could reach 50 degrees.

Well it's because he plays in Wolfsburg. He doesn't play im Cl or in a hyped league. He's probably the best lb in the Bundesliga after Alaba and Schmelzer, but to me he seems like a Pereira. 0 Football intelligence, but he can run and cross. If you live in Switzerland, like me, you hear a lot about him. He's praised like one of the best left backs in the world in Switzerland. I don't rate him that high, but I've got to admit he does his job at Wolfsburg and he does it well. I still like naga way more than him, as an example.
