Personally i don't have much information regarding Suker's footballing career, but Modric has done incredible things individually but also was a key factor in Croatia's historical achievements in International tournaments.

Italy’s team is just a rather mediocre side, not one decent attacker in the squad. It wasn’t really surprising it was two Inter players that saved them in the last game… but many of their teammates simply isn’t up to the same level

I think some talent is there, but coach isn't that great. Idk we'll see. I'd like to see 3-5-2 and utilize bastoni in such a formation, like at Inter. Idk we'll see what spalletti can cook up. Spain imo isn't any better.
