Denmark are just unlucky throughout this campaign, right from the first match with the eriksen incident, missed penalty and now an excellently incredible performance against Belgium were they lost go individual brilliance. I never expected them to put in such a good shift against Belgium and even dominated. Btw, this damsgaard kid looks really good tbh.

Default is Belgium wins Finland so that leaves Denmark-Russia to determine the remaining order. Unfortunately I can't see a scenario where Finland would get even a point from Belgium as De Bryune is back in the game and Martinez confirmed most likely De Bryune (and E.Hazard and Witsel) will start the last match.

Denmark-Russia 1-0 => goal difference in Finland-Belgium (given Belgium wins) will determine 2nd, 3rd and 4th
Denmark-Russia 2-0 => Denmark, Finland, Russia
Denmark-Russia 2-1 => Denmark, Russia, Finland
Denmark-Russia 3-1 => Denmark, Finland, Russia
Denmark-Russia 3-2 => Denmark, Russia, Finland

Belgium will surely rest players for the Finland match and they will have zero reason to risk injuries by giving 100% with hard tackles etc etc, so its not at all a given that Belgium wins this match. I'd say a boring draw is more likely. The only purpose of the last game for Belgium is to have KDB and Hazard get some minutes in their legs, they wont care about the result.

Belgium even has an incentive to lose this game to go second in the group, as its actually better to end up 2nd that 1st in this group. Though i doubt Belgium are illmannered enough to do that.

Denmark will probably draw against Russia as well, 1-1 draw seems likely with Denmark having 2-3x more chances, but they seem to be utterly incapable of finishing their chances properly. It doesnt help that Kasper Schmeichel seems to be a shadow of his former self, not long ago he would have saved both the finland goal and the KDB one yesterday.

I really hope Denmark gets through, because this does feel pretty horribly unfair for them. They basically deserved to win both games but now they have 0 points and no Eriksen. It would be well deserved if they advance through the third place... However, even if this doesn't happen, they can rest knowing that their good performances have been admired and appreciated by millions.

I think goal difference applies here on top of h2h so Denmark needs to win by 2 if Finland is to lose by 1.
