Everyone wanted Van Marwijk to put 5 offensive minded players for this game, from the start, and like it was shown, it was a complete madness. With so many offensive players on the pitch, your defense and midfield stays uncovered and it allows your opponent to explore the free space there is behind the midfield's back. It becomes even harder for that team to defend when none of the attacking players wants to press and help with in the defense. With a higher accuracy, Holland could and should have been hammered.
