hamed, only a very immature person who cant think of the following consequences of saying something that Fontana said will believe its ok.

No matter what he felt, its not right to speak about it while your at the club and cause something like that. We are an organisation not bloody school yard soccer. Screw him, i hope he learns how to shut his mouth until his like Toldo did.

We argued about what he said enough. Yes, he did something stupid and criticized his coach and teammates. I will never call a coach 'afraid of his shadow' and whatever. But he did it because there was no channel of communication. And Moratti gave him a medal, why do you think that was for.

Anyway, let's just celebrate Mancini's achievement with us and just forget this whole Fonata-Mancini deal. I will never change my mind of him and you won't ;)

I've been saying to bring Pagliuca back forever but as our #1 :D but with all seriousness he could be a great #2. I love Pagliuca he is my favourite player of all time i grew up watching him in his prime and he is my hero. An Inter legend. In his prime one of the greatests ever and the reason why i became a goalkeeper. I hope we sign Pagliuca and with Bologna being relegated it shouldn't be that hard.

I guess this was the thread where we talked about Fontana [too lazy to check it out].

Inter, a Fontana la medaglia d'oro

Moratti gives a gold medal to Fontana for all what he´s done for Inter. Moratti e Fontana! :star: :star: :star:

I'd love for a translation, but I doubt either Frisko or Fabio would do it :)

We dont need to spend money on a good keeper this season. We need to spend money on a new world class defender. I think once we get Julio Cesar back from his season long loan we will be alright. Toldo as first choice and J.Cesar and Carini as backups...

It's official guys. I've found the absolute perfect replacement for Toldo. This guy has been absolutely phenomenal and I think we'd be able to sign him for cheap. His name? Oswaldo Sanchez! Mexico's number 1 GK.

This guy is amazing. He's pulled off some fantastic saves, he's got fast reflexes and he's sound on crosses. BTW I think he's only in his mid 20s. He's also the captain, which says something about his leadership qualities and his control in the back. He's also probably cheap.

So forget about Frey, I want Oswaldo Sanchez to be our new GK, with Pagliuca as his backup and Cordaz or Moreau as the number 3.

If that's the same guy that played against Brazil...he's awesome.
But just like Kameni, we're not even linked to him. Is a good idea but you need to call Moratti or somebody. :D

Don't tell me you are basing your conclusion on those two games, Rich. You have to follow a GK for around a season to see how good he is.

I've seen this guy for ages (before I had GolTV and FSC I only had Mexican channels and since he's never left the Mexican League ;) )

I've noticed his talent in the pass, but I never thought about him coming to the club since we were always linked to other guys. But he's turned up the heat and he's showing how great he is on the world stage. I don't know about you, but I can't think of any other GK at the moment who is on such fire and would probably go for cheap.

He's also long, sorta like Cech and Toldo. He's got fast reflexes, long reach, and is also good on crosses. He's the solution to our problems, I'm convinced.

So back to your comment Hamed, no I'm not basing my judgment on just these 2 games (actually 3) but I must say they have ignited the fire. :D

Great eye for talent, Rich. I was also left impressed by his performance vs Brazil.

But he's no Jorge Campos. :dielaugh: :D

Fair enough Rich ;) I had the feeling you knew him for a while, I just wanted to make sure. If he has the blessing of the Richman, then he must be good.

And yes, there aren't many GK's that are eye-catching and available now. Other than Kameni, I don't see any, and I'd love to see more of this Mexican GK.

This is what I always have dreamed about another mid 20's Goalie from America Don't you allredy think we have enough of those. This is just too much for me it seems like Moratti are buying every freaking Goalie who plays for his national team in that age from America  Can't we just get Kameni.

Oswaldo Sanchez is an awesome keeper. But he wouldn't join Inter. He deserves to play for a big club though.

Why wouldn't he join us? I really think if we actually offered him a deal he could be interested. Though who really knows at this point?

All I hope is that Moratti is watching the Cup as well.

Oswaldo Sanchez is 31-years old goalkeeper. So why would we need him if we already have Julio Cesar who is great also.

Good point. I didn't realize which Julio Cesar we had signed, and in this case he is around 24 years old, has been a starter for the Selecao, and has plenty of potential.

Potential. Potential is a risk in football. Julio may turn out to be the best acquisition for the GK spot in years, or he may flop. It's totally risky. I haven't seen enough of this guy to be convinced he can be great on the worldstage. But I have seen Sanchez. Him being 31 is a blow I guess, but atleast we don't have to play with potential.

Sanchez is an EXCELLENT keeper rich ( ask to me, I see him every weekend making incredible saves :D ), and I think that if any big club of Europe makes a bid he would gladly accept it, but I only refer to a big club that could pay him well ... that's because there aren't many mexicans in Europe, in México they are payed REEALY GOOD...

And if you follow the Mexican League you could also fin 2 excellent keepers that are very young, one is Guillermo Ochoa from the Mexican Champion América and the other is the one that is playing for Chivas Corona...

in the Libertadores Cup he made astunishing saves VS Boca...

I think Corona is 22 years old...

I'm proud that México have this 2 excellent and young keepers and of course Oswaldo Sanchez that has the experience and is a leader...
