So, Pedulla says that it will be total of 30 mln + bonuses, and according to Sky, it's 35 + bonuses. Casadei included, but with buy back option. Medical scheduled for the beginning of the next week, Monday or Tuesday.

Did Marotta pull a Marotta? Drags the transfer for months and ending up paying the asking price? Jesus fucking christ.
*Above asking price.

Could have had him locked for 25m back in January and simply exercise it by the beginning of this season.

Same thing with Barella who was locked a month before Marotta had arrived and he wanted to restart discussions and ended up giving Cagliari 8m more...

The asking price drag happened with Lukaku (after initially losing him to Juventus) and Eriksen.

The worst of all was Sabatini with Dalbert, at least Marotta's transfers are for the first team.
Ausilio had him locked at 8m + 4m in bonuses, we stalled and then Sabatini renegotiated at 20+ (think 28m including all add ons and agent fees). Almost paid triple the asking price there... For some reason after Ausilo abandoned when they wanted 20m rather than 12, Sabatini became infatuated with the kid and wanted him at all costs.

The main problem with Marotta is his selling, where apart from Lukaku he did not get the maximum value but mostly had to settle way below value, or cutting up the value himself, or terminating deals. This is what he was hired to do. Buying was never his strong suit.

My favorite case study is Gabriel Barbosa. Flamengo has him on loan and comes with a 18m offer. Marotta says no, give me 20+. Flamengo says I can give you 18m. Marotta drags this for 1 month, Inter ends up paying his January salary without him even stepping a foot here and then proceeds to sell him for whatever Flamengo was initially offering, costing Inter around 600k or whatever his monthly gross salary is.

LoL. Asking price was close to 50 mln. 30 mln, if it's true is very good price for us, and it's only because Marotta agreed the deal with Bremer in advance.
The other point is that maybe Marotta sees a threat in Jube, and wants to close the deal asap.

Asking price started to be 50m only when June was going on.

The rumored price now by Di Marzio is 35m + Casadei. That's not 30m.

Like I said, let's hope these numbers are wrong and the eventual price is lower.

He should have just been dick and let his contract run out…

Anyway, I want him at any cost.

Beppe should have said at any expense do not sign a contract extension and knock up a pre-agreement on that condition.

Right now, I rather wait until January. This fucks lil dick Zhang in keeping Bastoni, Skriniar and De Vrij.

Juve have appeared just a couple of days ago, i've read about those rumored 50 mln maybe almost one month ago. Actually at the very beginning of the merkato, even before to be opened officially, it was speculated that Inter's offer is 25 mln, and Cairo asks for 35 at least. Then Bremer has been linked to many clubs, including some EPL ones, and the price was increased up to 45-50 mln. This was before Byaren to get serious about De Ligt, which was literally last week.

But we had Bremer booked since December and nothing has changed in that regard. Cairo didn't have leverage of other offers when Bremer wants only Inter.

Skriniar is getting sold anyway. It's good that at least Bremer will be here.

Lol your ass..

50m asking price is exactly why you're going to praise Marotta for overspending on a player that was tied for half that amount 6 months ago... You're falling for his media manipulation is his. Heck, he's gotten Di Marzio singing that Dybala isn't on our radar anymore and you're buying that like bread & milk.

There's no 50m asking price, that's just sirens from Cairo to get Marotta to get the deal done already and if he's lucky, get someone to check this Bremer case and intervene. A couple of years back this would have worked with a club like Barcelona. Now, not so much, but there's still a small risk we lose him because of Marotta's arrogance, which apparently doesn't even pay off in any way!

Bremer asking price in January 2022 was 25m. You know what Marotta did? Send them offers of 20m...
It became 35m for the summer of 2022 and they were willing to accept 30m before July. You know what Marotta did? Send them offers of 25m...

Now they're not so willing... So you know what Marotta is doing? Sends them offers of 35m under conditions...

Deal will get done at 35m and you'll be praising Marotta for spending 10m more than he should have because he made it sound like he's saving 15m.. So yeah, lol

We haven't developed a good youth player in twenty years. I promise you, you won't miss Casadei.
you mean like Bonucci and Zaniolo?

What sirens, are you serious? Cairo said that if Skriniar is 70-80, Bremer is more than what rumors say. And at this moment, the rumors were gravitating around 35-50. And that wasn't aimed only to Marotta, but to every else interested. There were enough rumors that Bremer rejected some proposals due to his loyalty to Inter and Matotta, but finally with jube on the horizon (full with fresh cash from De Ligt sale), the situation has been changed, because Bremer may change his mind, especially if activating 15 mln clause becomes a real opportunity. The guy doesn't look very keen to stay in Torino for half an year more.
Give me some reliable and real source, that Inter could have wrapped up the deal in the winter for only 25 mln, because thia sounds as utter nonsense. Or this is like the other winter rumor, that Marotta sealed Frattesi for 15 mln, and Scammacca for 25 mln 😂
So, Cairo wanted to get rid of Bremer for 25 mln, instead to wait 6 months and to start a bidding war in the summer. Yeah, sure. He is from yesterday in this business.

I would love to see some of these guys as our sporting directors under Suning.

Brehme would be fired after 1 day when he brings back Icardi for 30 million

CafeCordoba would be fired after 1 week for paying 65 million for Scammaca because according to him you should pay what the others ask. There’s no point in negotiating, negotiations are a waste of time

Do you realize that we're on the 16th of July and we still haven't closed a deal that was settled with the player before the 26th of December?
How long does it take to reach a deal with a player who has 18 months left in his contract and wants to join you?

You're talking about the current situation which is Marotta's fault as if this was the entire gameboard the entire time. It was not. Adjust your spectrum please and realize that we're not playing a video game which has fixed parameters here. I don't care if Cairo says he wants 70 or 80 million. I know he was settling for 30m and we didn't pull the trigger. It's entirely on Marotta if he has to spend 35-40m now.

Why would I even want Icardi back in the first place?

Go back to your cave, troll.
