Thomas has given a title that is up to false interpretations. Gazzetta article in Italian doesn't claim Inter are going to exercise their buyback clause early. Even if they wanted they can't because clause becomes valid only in 2025. Instead they claim Inter are already estimating the cost in 2025 budget.
I think the wording is bit poor in the tweet and can be interpreted wrong way easily. What is meant there is that Inter is planning for the redemption 1.5 years in advance, not that we're signing him 1.5 years early.

Scored for U21. Casadei also scored on an assist by Zanotti.... If only our coach wasn't alergic to young players.

Marotta in a recent interview commented on the buy back and said that essentially, Fabbian is still an Inter player. In the same interview he stated that they are still deciding what they will do with him next season. After reading the article, I thought Inter might exercise the buy back and simply loan him back to Bologna. Alternatively, they might leave him there for another season before exercising the buy back.

I might be wrong but I feel it is highly unlikely that he will be a part of the squad next season. Why bring him back to sit on the bench when he can develop and become a regular at Bologna?

Admittedly, its quite exciting having young prospsects in Serie A that are developing into players that Inter could bring back to play in the first team.

why spend 40 million on Frattesi to do the same..

any player needs to win his spot.
