Portugese Midfielders have more flair than the Germans but the likes of Ballack and Schweinsteiger were absolute class.

Schwein has Pace to burn while Ballack does tackling scoring everything.And they are highly physical side.Cleary outmuscled Portugese.

That's not my point. Their midfield can't pass as "quick" as you've stated when we were talking about Inter, and you can't deny the fact Portugal is more technical team, so they should dominate the game, but they didn't. This game is another proof, that with a team that doesn't have as technical midfield can also get something out of the game, and put some fight in it, just like Germans did today.

Now inter and germany are the same? Inters midfield is NOTHING like germanys, we dont have a single player in midfield with the class of ballack or schweinsteiger. As i said Germany has a balanced midfield interms of strenghs/weakneses they compliment eachother and there is plenty of both offensive and defensive capablities. Plenty of technique from ballack and schweinsteiger (who has speed as well). We dont have a single midfielder with half the offensive capabilities of these two.

Inter has a completely unbalanced midfield in terms of strengh/weakneses, all the players basicly share the same flaws basicly.

Comparing Inters midfield to Germany is so ignorant that i cant believe i actually bothered reply'ing to it.

we don't talk about level of the players, it's about the style.
ballack is better than stankovic, of course, but the german midfield it's a lot like inter, frings is someone like cambiasso, ballack a rich man stankovic etc.. shuensteiger is great but he was not even starter in the first games. German midfield is more strong than talented.

Yes by far. Their midfield can actually string a succesfull session of passes together, something that cant be said about Inter.

As i said, their midfield is well balanced, ours isnt, i never said you needed an all-out technical midfield.

Balance is the key, we arent balanced.

I think it was Gomez..With him they were playing with 10 players instead of 11. In the QF they stacked up midfield and maybe thats why they looked better .Something they needed to do against the Croatians too. Their defence was horrible once again though and its really concerning.
