No reason to keep Lautaro for 70 min in his 1st fucking match when he wasn't doing anything.

No need to completely change the equiliber of the team by removing calha and putting taremi when there were 20 min left

Too much confusion all the game, yes we could have won by 2 goals ahead we could as well concede in the spaces we left behind. This match was very badly played from tactical point of view. Conceding 2 goals to a genoa who just lost their 2 strikers is stupid

my point is just about the pressure of the environment. We're unforgiving, both as a fan base, and a team, because of our competitive desires. Its not so much a specific criticism of Bisseck, but more, hopefully a point of self-reflection for us as fans to think about what we say versus how we actually feel when these things happen

It's normal to have a slow start. Most players didn't have a proper pre season.

Yeah that's pretty much why I'm just refusing to blame anyone for this. But we will really need to get this wins however we can in first few weeks/months until we are in a proper form again. I'm counting on guys like Thuram to carry us at the beginning.

I worried about that too before, but the game proves otherwise, we drew cause brainfarts and rusty individuals, all the threats did not came from a tactical miscalculation from us or tactical brilliancy from Genoa, more on individuals' concentrations and physical stuffs (could be pre-season or aging, still not sure at this point). Mainly Acerbi (he lacked the usual domination on the forward for counter long direct passes, you see he kept dragging back and giving them more space, which I think it is due to his lack of confidence in the speed and physical stuffs), Sommer, Mihki, Darmian (he actually looked decent cause his involvement was limited, hence no major error, but Dumfries shows the difference when he was subbed in)

Toro was obviously rusty, the slow body reaction etc.

the 3-4-3 is also something new, or not, but Toro instead of Sanchez dropped back.

One thing you need to applaud Inzaghi is he subbed Mihki with Frat, before other midfield, how awesome is that.

When you look at the match in totality. We scored 2 very nice goals. Had one disallowed for offside and lost a pen from VAR.

Genoa scored from a ball taking a weird bounce off the cross bar and a rebound from a saved pen conceded from a flukey hand ball. In terms of Genoa actually cutting us open and hurting us we weren’t really threatened much.

Compare that to the Milan match for example. Our a weaknesses are our weaknesses. We definitely have some aging players in key positions. However, I don’t think we can take much from this result.

The biggest takeaway for me was that Inzaghi so quickly broke from his 3-5-2 when we needed a goal.

I think most fans are still very happy with Bisseck from what I observed, also I think supporting, giving chances and nurturing youngsters is not tantamount to giving them immunity to any criticisms; that is also why I think the personality of the youngster makes a different too, like I always think Bellanova is a good prospect cause of the strong will, Asllani needs more care in terms of this, but I would say we are far from unforgiving, how he missed the chance vs Barca. (This should give a lot of credit to Inzaghi)

Anyway my point is staying strong after doing something wrong and learn from it is crucial, also it is also part of training up kids with gradual integration to the team and minimize the damage they might do as they grow. e.g. playing them after we secured the title, which we haven't.

I would say we have done a tremendous job with Asllani so far, whether he can adopt his unnatural position at the end has no promise though.

we have also Atalanta in some week. So we might lose more points in the next games, but others could also have a slow start, we will see.

I personally don’t see how Juve wins the league this year. Their squad is too much in flux. They also have the same European commitments as us this year. If they weren’t in Europe I’d agree they can probably put a string of results together. I think playing every 3 days while trying to build a team is extremely difficult.

It's a transition season for Juve. Apart from the fact they will need time to adjust to Motta tactics Giuntoli tried to change too many things in one summer while he didn't have the budget to do it. Season is starting and they still have many gaps in the squad, even in terms of starting lineup. At cb they have Bremer and a bunch of mediocrities (Cabal, Gatti, Djalo) and on the wings they have to use Weah as a starter. Their bench is consisted mostly of kids. And that's why they have started to reinstate players they had put out of the project. First it was Milik, then McKennie, now i read Kostic could also have a role if he isn't sold. They will eventually do the same with Chiesa. They will probably sign 2-3 more players to complete the squad but they will need time to adjust. Juve won't be at their peak in the first matches of the season.

I don't disagree but as I mentioned that shithole club has a way of scraping 1-0 last minutes even in bad form.
