The best options are Hittzfield, Del Bosque and Benitez

Benitez won't leave, and if he comes he'll probably bring us Crouch and Finnan

Hittzfield might do well and motivate Ballack to come, and make him perform better etc

Del Bosque IMO is the best coach I've ever seen. I never liked him because of his appearance and the fact that I'm a Barca fan :P but I start to appreciate him. He made players know everything abou their teammates. He could tie their eyes up and still win a game FFS :D:D:D

Del bosque hasn't done anything since he left real. He suck every where since.

care to elaborate why?

Winning in the Serie A (with inter) and winning in the EPL (which he isnt even doing) are 2 totally different things.

Wenger has done nothing of recent to prove he would do well in Serie A with a so called cursed itner team.

Lets face it the only coach who can get us out of this is someone with great knowledge and record, ie Capello or Jose.

For me the best prospect is Paul Le Guen. Is the man who built Lyon and very serius and smart manager. The Best in the world in my opinion. He left Olympique last summer and wait for a good offer... some say that is already agreed to take control of France National team after the WC . But i dont believe he will sit too soon as national manager

Many names in this thread just give me the creeps, I can only hope Mancio doesn't go anywhere.

i think lothar mathaus but i rate mancini highly,so if mancini gets the chop mathaus could be our new generale,he brought a team into the CL a few seasons ago but i cant remember who bulgarians or romanians?they looked like juve colours,
he was a bit of a legend and scored some rippen screamers in his day ,disciplened and played a record games foe deutchland, add to that our last scudetto,a couple of CL finals,a CL medal,2 world cup finals, one as the champion in italia 90,and of course our uefa cup

walter was a legend as well, but he needs more time in the hot seat and i dont think red star job is the hot seat but he has trained former champions of europe in red star and steua buchurest, his time will come,

other candies, brehme,ruben sosa,baresi,benny blanco:yuck:

Matthaus and Zenga, regardless of their glorious Inter past and enviable playing records do not have the necessary credentials to take a position on Inter's bench.

Do you honestly believe that qualifying a team for the Champions League is enough to get a coach a deserved place on Inter's bench? (Matthaus). With regards to Zenga, he was sakced from leading a team in Romania. I think you should take off your Romantic Inter sunglasses and wakeup a little. Neither Matthaus or Zenga are capable of coaching Inter. Forwarding their names as possible cadidates is laughable.

Give Mancini one more season. Believe it or not, but Mancio is improving, just check the 2004-2005 vs 2005-2006 thread.

If he doesn't bring us any major throphies next season, Mourinho is the man.

He has this arrogance and winning attitude that we lack :star:

no i dont think its enough to get lothar a gig at inter, but getting an eastern european team to qualify for a champions league is a wonderful effort HUGE,specially like a poor yugoslav club.
and i honestly believe both walter and lothar have more feelings for inter than mancini, they both won titles for us,have experienced the mentality of inter milan, from supporters, to the milan way of life they gave this city and club alot, physically, mentally, emiotionally,?
even though i rate mancini highly,do you honestly believe that he has matured as a coach?,after spending half a season in lazio and a couple of seasons with inter,is he already a super coach in your eyes?or do you think his time is coming.dont get me wrong like my post said i dont want him sacked but if we are gonna throw in names whats wrong with walter or mathaus?
he is yet to reach his middle plateu yet alone the summit of euro football, which i believe will only happen if he stays with inter atleast after we win the CL this year, seriously i think it will happen even if my GUCCI's sometimes make objects seem closer than they really are.
ciao

I say we stick with Mancio for another season...If we dont get close to the title like this year then its over..

We need an experienced coach.Mancini is great in making us look good but we need to win also..An experienced coach who can do both is needed. Our first priority would be to win.

JOSE MOURINHO

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has rubbished claims that he is ready to quit Stamford Bridge in the summer to take over at Italian giants Internazionale.
The Portuguese tactician is all set to capture his second Premiership title in as many years but there has still been talk of a close-season exit from the West London outfit.
Internazionale are the club who have most fervently been linked with an approach for Mourinho but the cocksure coach has now moved to put any such suggestions to bed.
Mourinho has at times this season been critical of how he is perceived by the English press, who have on occasion portrayed him in a less than flattering light, and it is such ire that has prompted talk of move to Serie A.
However, Mourinho is seemingly still committed to Chelsea and has now pledged to remain at the club - certain that he will be in the hot seat next season.
"There's no way I am going to join Inter Milan in the summer, no way at all,'' Mourinho told the News of the World.
"I promise you I will be at Chelsea next season - I am absolutely certain of that."
Chelsea had earlier rejected claims that Mourinho is set to leave the club, issuing a statement that entirely dismissed any such notion. A club statement read: "The story is nonsense and we will not dignify it with any further comment."

That's right, you read it there, tommorow's Italian newspapers headings; "MOURINHO DETERMINED TO STAY PUT, BUT INTER ARE CLOSE"

OR

"INTER APPROACH GETTING TO MOURINHO, SAN SIRO BECKONS"

OR

"MORATTI FLIES OUT TO LONDON, MOURINHO TO JOIN HIM ON THE PLANE BACK"

Gee, I knew it was bs, but ol' Mourinho didn't have to be so harsh- "there is no way I'm joining Inter"
