Or Emery was watching Ulrich and was like 'why waste Neymar against a little French team when he can score an easy five against this keeper'

The CL is what it's all about innit?

Just found out Neymar is out with foot injury. Damn, I thought Emery was saving him up for the Bayern match.

Or better yet he grew a spine and was punishing him.

For what? Cavani acting like he's the boss  It was a shitfest seeing him denying Neymar. Imagine Suarez doing this to Messi or Benzema to Ronaldo or Pogba to Zlatan. Or Candreva to Icardi HHAHAHAHA

People need to know their place.

Bottom line is Cavani is the primary penalty taker, Neymar is the 2nd. Cavani was trying to do his job, Neymar was being the brat.

yes, neymar was/is being a dick. yes, cavani has the right to be the one to shoot penalties till the end of this season.

yet, i feel like cavani wants to wear shoes bigger than his feet, if this makes sense.

he refused 1 million from al khelaifi to let neiymar shoot the penalties. which is good, it means it is not a matter of money.

but if you want to be a leader, if you want to be considered as one, which i think is what he wants, you have to prove to be worth it.

yes, he can demand that the pacts be respected.

but you can't be a leader by contract, you have to show you are worth it.

now, it can be a coincidence, but psg lost the champions' title in france after 3 years as soon as ibrahimovic left. and they failed to win when neymar wasn't called up.

besides, neymar gives me the general impression to be a much better forward, despite cavani being really good.

if i were a player at psg, i would feel i have already almost won the match (at least in Ligue 1) with neymar by my side. i wouldn't feel the same with just cavani.

tl; dr: on paper cavani is right. but you must gain a certain status showing on the pitch you are worth it, not by contract.

But I've read that most of the players sided with Cavani.

really? well, IF it's true (none of us was there, starting with the journalists), then neymar is REALLY being a dick. but then again, i really think cavani should do more and constantly if he wants to claim certain rights. i have to say this evening he started doing it.

by the way, the two didn't even look at each other when cavani scored. love is in the air :eek:blivious:

No, it doesn't make sense. Cavani is a lethal striker; him taking a penalty when he's the first choice by decision doesn't make him a shoe addict.

I think everyone knows he's proven his worth in every team he's been. As for PSG failing to win, it is one single match. They will also loose and tie. It has nothing to do with Neymar not being there for one game.

Cavani can't fill those shoes, he should stfu or change team. Neymar joins and they beat bayern 3-0. It's not Cavani making the difference.

If Neymar wants to take the penalty then he will take the penalty. I don't understand people saying its Cavani's JOB. If we are gonna talk about job here then lets remind you all how much the president paid to get Neymar there which means he VALUES Neymar more than Cavani. When the president bought Neymar it was with the promise that he would lead the team(according to Neymar himself, why he wanted to leave Barca). Cavani need to step the fuck down.

agreed generally but that should come from management/the manager. If cavani had been taking the PKs and it was established formally or informally that he was the #1 for PKs - then management/the manager and not some other player (even if its neymar) should be coming in and changing that and making that clear explicitly so there is no confusion. All these players have egos and they have manage that so it doesn't spill out into the field.

Agreed but seriously? Is Cavani that stupid that he couldn't understand this himself? I mean c'mon he have played in Serie A he must have some kind of brain.

1. neymar is also a lethal striker. so that's not the matter and it DOES makes sense to question it, it's about leading roles.

2. may be, not the main point anyway. kind of the single thing i liked about cavani, but you say it's bullshit... :eek:blivious:

3. no, he hasn't proven anything, if we talk about winning champions league or at least getting close to it. and even single matches may count if we talk about charisma. even more so in champions league.

Cavani has been in Ibrahimovic's shadow in his first three seasons and had to play out of position. Cavani never had a problem because Ibra didn't behave like a douchebag unlike Neymar who only arrived for a few weeks and already acting like he has the biggest dick in the PSG team.

In footballing terms, he has "the biggest dick" at psg, along with Dani Alves.

That's still no excuse to act like an asshole. Neymar has just arrived, doesn't he need to keep his new teammates on his side instead of pissing them off straight away? Cavani has been at PSG for five years, three spent in Ibra's shadow and last season it paid off with 50 goals. Neymar should give Cavani some respect.

Exactly, he is a shadow. He didn't do shit when Ibra left and that's why he should gtfo if Neymar wants him to gtfo.
