Exactly. People who deserve the big sharp axe are Mancini and whoever planned the summer's bad campaign which appears to be a tourism tour more than a training one. Its preparation and management was so bad that the team is still suffering from it until this day. Those people should be fired for being lazy and incompetent.

There are also those mediocre players who are still in this club for years. Those should be sacked too. Add the so called captain who has failed miserably as one. All of those should be sacked before De Boer.

For once Thohir is the wisest man in Inter. I believe Zanetti shares the same thoughts.

I hope it's true and Thohir keeps FdB. However, I'm not bothered by Suning's impatient. Their impatient could mean they spend more money on transfers so it's a win-win situation.

Inter legend Sandro Mazzola has come out in defence of beleaguered Coach Frank De Boer.

“I know him, he has the right ideas but doesn’t manage to communicate them,” the Grande Inter talisman told Radio CRC.

“The players don’t know what he wants”.

Mazzola, who won two European Cups with Helenio Herrera's Nerazzurri in the 1960s, had a very useful suggestion, however: “He needs to talk face-to-face with the club about this, perhaps add a middleman between the squad and himself, someone who can explain his technical concepts to the team.

“It’d be a pity to lose him”.

Suning would like to have profit from the start of their purchase immediately.
So, basically, we're into the same cycles as the previous owners,
no patience over many coaches, who can't deliver immediate results.

IMHO, there's nothing wrong about it.
But it's definitely wrong if they haven't seen it those past few years,
we failed for the same reason.

Right now the team is top heavy. The likes of Candreva, Perisic, Joao Mario are great talents, but the likes of Nagatomo, D'Ambrosio, Santon are meeting the minimum requirements (and I like Santon). There are questions if Murillo and Miranda are really on the same level as the likes of Materazzi, Samuel and Lucio (of course they aren't).

Medel is no Cambiasso. Banega is close to Sneijder's level, but I still give Sneijder the edge. Icardi vs Milito... Don't insult El Principe like that. Icardi is not even as good as Julio Cruz (who I thought was great, but hey).

Can Medel and Motta even be compared, for all of Medel's running and tackling? No. No they can't.

So either the team plays more defensive, to make up for this comparative weakness, or we try to win 'shoot outs' (3-2, 4-3, 2-1 if we defend exceptionally for 90 minutes, etc).

Its quite the opposite - Thohir inherited his wealth, while Zhang Jindong build his (far bigger) empire from scratch.

But I do agree that Thohir is a sharp guy, his business decisions for Inter have generally been good. If he is indeed supporting FDB through this poor phase, then he is demonstrating his level head. It would be silly to sack FDB after 9 league games.

Forget Milito and Cruz for a moment. Imagine that you build Inter around Gampaolo Pazzini as a lone striker, and just kept on delivering countless balls into the penalty area.
