No, he does not need to be younger. He is at the perfect age. This type of defender peaks and enjoys his best years between 33 and 36-37. Italy has a tradition of defenders and it all starts at a very young age. For me it was a huge shock running into Primavera defenders and taking on italian defenders. Used to play youth tournaments all the time in Germany and France but it was nowhere near the same. The italian football school was always unrivaled when it comes to defenders and GKs.

If availlable. Luckily our management got a good clause in to save us from ourselves. We were already SCREAMING for the whole summer that we need a new CB, in December our management is already thinking about getting one. It's okay to let him go at the end of the season.

Welcome to the 30s. Any chance you've woken up yet one morning with inexplicable pain in the back of your left knee that ended up taking two months to properly go away? It's all just the beginning of the end from here on out. (The only time that knee didn't hurt was on the tennis courts. I could still play tennis. Ask me to crouch down to do a quick task though and it was an entirely-elaborate process because I literally could not crouch on that knee, the pain was way too much.)
