Forum very slow today

Just me or is the forum very slow today?

Not only today, but in the past 2 days.. I thought it was my connection, but it wasnt

Its not slow ALL the time though. There are periods when it is normal, there are periods when it's slow and i cant even open the pages...

I only get delays when posting but browsing is fine.

Not sure why, it's working fine for me so I can't test anything.

Past couple of days though I was modifying the templates, so that could explain it. There's no reason for it to be slow.

Actually, last week during the Roma game we had our busiest day ever compared to all previous years. I think it's because the game was a big turning point in Serie A, and airing independently, all Roma, Juve, and especially Milan fans were watching us.

Check out the huge spike on the right side and compare it to all the games we had from the start of the season. Our traffic more than quadrupled compared to regular days, and it was even more than twice as much as previous derbies with Juve and Milan. More people kept coming as well as the goals kept coming back and forth.

Anyway, on that day I think our server handled the hammering very well and nobody reported any slow downs, right? If it's a server issue we can upgrade, but it seems we are pretty well optimized and prepared.

I'll restart the server now just to clear any issues. Forum will be down for 2 minutes so that's normal.

It's fine right now but sometimes it does get slow, it's usually around the same time too I've noticed.

Yea, I noticed slowness at times. Somehow when I post, it will double post the exact same things I type. I suppose it's all the visitors we have.

Don't double click Reply or whatever, even if it doesn't post immediately.

I only click it once. And it still does that for no apparent reason.

Yeah vBulletin double posts sometimes for some reason, when the site is slow, even if you only press the button once. Does that on my home forum too.

taking a longer amount of time to load up pages, and i know its not my connection cause all the other sites im viewing are uploading just fine.
