What an epic season… that last lap was nerve recking… I can’t believe it ended like this…. I was resigned to Hamilton winning it.

The level of excitement and pure joy it’s on par with beating Farca in the semis.

It's about the safety car. There's a rule that says lapped cars need to overtake leaders and safety car and return to their natural position one lap before safety car leaves the track and race continues. This isn't what happened today. At first Masi, racing director, had decided for lapped cars to stay where they were. Then he changed his mind but gave instructions only to the lapped cars that were between Hamilton and Verstappen to overtake sc and return to their positions and even this happened in the same lap safety car returned to pits.

So basically racing director fucked it up and Mercedes are trying to win on a technicality.

It's definitely sour grapes. I don't think result would be different if things were done properly. Only a finish behind safety car would have saved Hamilton. His tyres were gone. Mercedes fucked it up with strategy and they're searching for a way to save the day in the last moment. But they may have a case. Racing director didn't follow the usual procedure. Who knows what bureaucrats may decide. It's rumoured it could even go to CAS.

Verstappen is the athlete I currently dislike the most. What a fucking scumbag. He makes Michael Schumaher seem like a fair driver.

He constantly drives people off track, constantly gets lucky (the red flag, safety cars, and basically all strategies of his this year went his way). He almost killed Hamilton in Italy, if not for the Halo thingy. He literally said on radio that's what happens when you do not give me the space.

Hamilton was graceful when he unjustly lost the championship, yet this fucking idiot went on an interview and mentioned how his low point of the year was going to hospital after his crash - before he said that hamilton didnt check up on him.

The last lap of that race was made for Netflix, not for anything else, just for the drama. Hamilton is still the GOAT.
