We’re more Barella-dependent than Calha-dependent imo.

I think Calha is the link between defence/offence and brings more balance. It seems our games are much more open against top sides without him.

But Barella is the better player imo, and much more important to our offence.

Then we'd need a proper backup for Hakan and also a solid backup for Mkhi. Next season might be a start of his decline, so we'll need a player whom is a good passer and has an ability to carry the ball around and has a good stamina.

That's why I said a serious task is ahead of our management in summer transfer market.

Midfield is also an issue. This team would benefit a lot from somebody that has the creativity and flair of Sanchez, Sensi and Rafinha.

While I can appreciate all the workhorses in our midfield, it's depressing to see how many good counters we fuck up by a bad decisive pass or because Mkhitaryan is too old and fucks up after a great run. Hakan positions very well but doesn't go forward as much as Brozo did in the same position, Asllani neither, Frattesi is not creative (most of the time, he showed glimpses, but he has NO FLAIR on the ball), Zielinski is also slow,...

Barella our only exception here and even he is more reserved nowadays. Only ever see Barella doing something magical against Napoli, Juve, Lazio
