According to GdS, Fiorentina CEO called Zhang, Marotta and Ausilio "mafiosi" multiple times.

People are talking about Dimarco get sent off but I wonder how that foul turned into a penalty when the foul happened after the ball went outside the pitch?
Red card foul can happen anywhere at any time on the pitch. And that's obviously a freekick/penalty then.

We were lucky Valeri didn't interpret it as straight red.

Why didn't he give Dimarco a yellow? Because he didn't see the incident live so he didn't give anything. With VAR he was able to give the penalty but yellows are not possible to give through VAR check. I'd say it was an orange type of foul, as Dimarco was simply late in his challenge but he wasn't aggressively going to the opponent player while being late. His leg wasn't straight, it wasn't full force. He was simply late and the studs hitting Bonaventura made the challenge orange, if not red (in Valeri's eyes it was not red).

However, this wasn't the first time they don't give straight red to such challenge in Serie A. In CL this would have been at least more probably a red.

Hopefully Dimarco gets a ban for a couple of games. That was one disgraceful foul.

This is simply not true. In relation to missed penalties, we see it all the time with hands-calls that weren't called to begin with. You cannot use VAR solely for free-kicks that would lead to a booking, but you can book players in situations where VAR is otherwise used (penalties, lead up to goals that are disallowed, penalties that are overturned for diving and so on).

Okay well then Valeri fucked up there big time for not giving at least a yellow.

Yeah I haven't seen any comments/reports anywhere what Inter people said to Fiorentina people. Only thing I've read is Joe Barone (their CEO) said to Inter people in the stands (Zhang, Marotta & co) "mafiosi", several times, according to Gazzetta.
