Both teams had good opponents for the most part, some underperformed heavily (austria, swiss), some played better than expected (iceland, ireland), and croatia, poland, wales and germany games were hard as fuck for both teams.

Both deserve the final, hoping for a game like the one we saw today.

Imho this is going to be an easy win for France. I wouldn't mind being proven wrong in this case though.

If we, somehow, manage to win the Euro with this team it´ll probably be a national holiday for at least a week.

Hoping for a 1-0 win with an Éder goal provided by an Eliseu assist in the 115´. The football world would collapse.

I agree with Austria, but how did Switzerland underperformed heavily? They beat Albania, tied Romania, tied France, and then tied Poland and lost on penalties. If anything, I'd say they performed exactly at their level.

Portugal have lost last 10 matches to France... will it be 11th losses.

Talking about records Portugal is first host nation to lose in a European Championship final... will it be Frances turn to suffer humiliation on home turf... or will the curse of 2004 be haunting Portugal for years to come.

Viva Le France 3 - 1

When you say it like that, yeah, the results were good, but they played worse than I expected from them.

Because they're using him as a withdrawn winger and he has the athleticism to do that, Kante does not.

He's actually been very good for France, looked a lot like his old self. He needs to get the hell out of Newcastle ASAP.

True, but Kante has also been good for France. He might not have the athleticism to be a winger but he does have it to burst up and down the middle. He's the destroyer that can spark a counter anytime, but with Matuidi in the middle, they can afford to play Sissoko I guess. I personally think they should have stayed with Kante.

IMO it should be Kante over Matuidi, who is the weakest link in that midfield.

yeah Matuidi did better in the last game I think it was, but I expected him to have a better tournament.

Also I'm tempted to put money on Quaresma scoring the winner

Very boring game so far, Portugal can´t do anything, the players are too nervous and missing passes even when not being under pressure.

Sissoko is being a beast.
