tbh, imho, what italy need to do is like what england did. Get rid of the old players, bring down the average age, make it a stage for youth to shine. This would have been a perfect edvelopment tournament for the world cup - which is exactly what England are doing (who is likely to not be playing in the world cup for them?) - instead, Locatelli, Bastoni, etc, are eating bench.

It's not just kane, if you go player by player then it's clear how much difference in quality there is. Chiesa is one of the best italian players, and he wouldn't even get a call up for this england team.
