What's the youngest starter Inter has signed in the last twenty years? Probably Cesar?

If Stankovic has a great 18 months I'm not against giving him the shot hypothetically, but it'll be basically record breaking for us

Lautaro? We signed him at 21 and he became a starter in the second round of his first season at Inter. If Spalletti was more flexible he would have probably become a starter even earlier.

Bastoni also became a starter very fast in his first season at Inter and was even younger than Lauti but he had gone on loan first so i don't know if you count him as a new signing.

Sorry I meant for keeper role. JC, Toldo, Handanovic, Sommer, none of them really young coming to Inter. jC I guess maybe was 24?

Frey was the youngest first choice GK at 20 or 21. No one else comes close.

agree. with less playing time and big pressure in Inter, Stankovic probably will not be able to show his current quality. I believe Martinez is a decent back up for Sommer.

The mistake is not loaming him out it's not buy back tbh, but I'm sure we will find a way to bring him back if we want him

You see it from the wrong perspective.

The issue isn't that Stankovic isn't at Inter. It was right to send him on loan to get playing time.

The problem is we invested 15m on Martinez as our future GK when we had a promising GK prospect. Our most expensive transfer last summer. 15m is a future starting GK money. If we just wanted a backup we could have got a low cost option.

Yeah, loaning him out was the best choice. Spending 15 mln (almost our entire budget) on a 25 years old with only one stand out season on Serie B level in his whole career, was beyond retarded. Stankovic is making a better impression at this level than Martinez did past season (a bit exaggerated I know).

He is fine where he is and we are more than likely monitoring him as he seems very familiar with Inter players. I also think he is in pretty high regard.

I don't think we do, tbh, but I'm sure he'd be happy to come back and given we will need a new keeper soon we will consider him

We don't but we have kept 50% of a future sale so in theory we can bring him back IF we want him.

Wouldn't be surprised if we brought him back to give him another years loan, see if he's consistent
