It was more our shocking missers though.

But fair is fair, he was present & active. His distribution also wasn't bad
Should frame it too in the context of a 22 to first season in Serie a

Who's also benching a good experienced GK. He earned the spot through hard work in training. It's even better than starting the season as a starter.

Sadly i i can't find anything about a buyback clause for Inter. Only that he's on loan with option that can turn into obligation under certain conditions. Hope we don't do another Di Gregorio. Kid has potential.

Maybe I was thinking of his brother in the 1.5/1.7m counter-option scenario

Either way, though, if Stankovic wants to come back to Inter, and we want him at Inter, there are ways we can make it happen. We might have to spend a bit more, or we might have to scratch Venezia's back a little bit, but I wouldnt expect it to be a big deal if the mutual interest is there. Seems the obligation is if Venezia avoid relegation, and its currently set at 3m fee + 50% of future re-sale apparently. So in some funny way, kinda similar to Daniel Maldini/Milan

Also 100% agreed on the 'earned through training' thing - that's exactly the sort of 'challenging conditions' I've been talking about. When we talk about some of our ex/other youth players, we see them dropped and then they dont really crop back up. I dont mind a kid in a challenging condition, it sets an environment where they need to work hard to break through - that's a key condition of wanting to be a top player in your career

Yeah. That's the deal for Aleksandar, the midfielder. It would be cool to see Stankovic brothers at Inter one day. Especially for me as a Deki fanboy :D

They also happen to play at positions we're gonna need players in the future, GK and DM.

What a match by mini Stanko.

Remind us , people, the whereabouts of that 15 million transfered to somewhere in Genoa municipality area.

We got scammed.

Indeed, I cannot wrap my head around wtf we were doing with that purchase. Meanwhile mini Deki looks legit and already had a full season in Serie B.

It was more our shocking missers though.

We conceded 4 goals from 5 shots vs juventus, and our 15m jewel is on the bench and looks like he jumps in slow motion

Just wait a bit more before making any judgment and Josep Martinez hasn’t set foot on grass yet as well.

Which is a question in its own right. We've already played 14 games this season, including games against Crvena Zvezda (at home) and Young Boys, and we still can't get our €15M summer signing on the field for those games? Either Inzaghi is once again extremely rigid in his rotations or Martinez isn't doing enough in training to merit confidence. The Venezia game is about the first time all season where I found myself thinking Sommer had a high grade performance, especially the save around the 40th minute when it was still 0-0. Sommer was always meant to be a very good Band-Aid, but even the best of those eventually need to be ripped off and replaced. If he's still starting by the end of the season, either he's been incredible once again, or Martinez got some chances and flopped hard. We could all live with the first scenario especially if it ends in another Scudetto, but long-term we need this position to get figured out.

Martinez was one of the most dumb moves of Inter, considering how limited our budget is.

2nd youngest keeper to get regular game time behind Suzuki at parma. Impressive. I don't even care how he plays really, game time at his age is good

Stankovic denies Lukaku penalty

Gf-TmpKWAAAaAzi

Filip Stankovic proved his worth during Venezia’s meeting with Inter at the San Siro, when he made three saves in the opening 45 minutes to prevent the hosts from taking the lead, particularly with a miraculous stop to deny Henrik Mkhitaryan from close range.

REMINDER: the goalkeeper is on loan at Venezia with an option to buy for €2m plus 50 per cent of the sell-on fee.
