None of the highlighted were dry loans, all had options.
Unrealistic redemption fee is techniquely the same as no option in my book. My point is, we already know he will return in the end.

Similar to Buchanan... we can put 200m clause all we want.

So we have already closed the deal for Susic. Do we really expect anything today? I don't think so.

Finally we got someone with a potential.
What does that even mean? Are Esposito, Zanotti, both Carbonis (but especially Valentin), Palacios, Stanković, Kamate, Fontanarosa ALL WITHOUT POTENTIAL? And what kind of potential are we talking about? Potential to be good, servicable players or potential to be world class players?

I'd say Sučić is not exactly out of this world type talent quite yet. He fits this mold of players with potential we already have. Soon players like Arnautović, Darmian, Mkhitaryan, Sommer, Acerbi, maybe even some others like Hakan WILL LEAVE. There is a chance some of the previous mentioned players might actually play for us in a season or two as bench options.

We are talking about young player that before his injury regulary started for his national team that is among best teams in the world. I think he has more potential than players you mentioned above . What will happen in the future with him nobody knows right now. He can turn into Kovačić or he can be new Halilović or Čorić, we'll see.

I would prefer it if he turned into Brozovic or Rakitic over Kovacic. While Kova had immense talent he barely improved his game throughout the years.
If he turns into any of above mentioned players, playing for us, I will celebrate like madman. But he's a different kind of player. Box to box type of.

Bravo Petre!

Gazzetta: Juventus made an aggressive move for Sučić. The desire of Dinamo's ace decided!

PETAR SUČIĆ (21), a midfielder for Dinamo and the Croatian national team, is on the verge of a transfer to Inter. Fabrizio Romano announced that everything has been resolved between the players and the champions of Croatia and Italy. He states that Sučić will sign for Inter this week, after passing the medical examinations, but that he will transfer there in the summer, after the end of the season.

Inter brings him in so that he can go through complete preparations and get optimally acclimatized to the new club, rather than having to do it in the middle of the season. Another reason is that Sučić is seriously injured. He broke his metatarsal bone and will not play for another month and a half.

"Croatian midfielder whose last name ends in 'ić'. Inter knows it"
Gazzetta dello Sport published details of the deal. In the text entitled "Sučić is a great victory for Inter! He took Dinamo's player in the race with Juventus" it is written: "Croatian midfielder whose last name ends in 'ić', and the kind they have already seen at Inter.

Petar Sučić, the 21-year-old all-round mezzala of Dinamo Zagreb, will take the place held by his compatriot Marcelo Brozović from next season. Last night, Inter gave Dinamo a final offer of 14 million euros in fixed compensation and another 2 million euros through bonuses for the talent whose origin represents the Balkans and its contradictions. Sučić is Croatian from Bosna, born in Livno, who chose Croatia."

Gazzetta points out: "The Nerazzurri were not alone in this story. After negotiating with Dinamo for weeks, especially in recent days, Juventus, led by Cristiano Giuntoli, aggressively entered the race for Sučić. In the end, the player's wish prevailed. He will come to Inter for the club WC . He could replace Davide Frattesi, who is thinking of leaving, but also Hakan Calhanoglu."

The ideal player for the vision of the new American owners
Calciomercato wrote like this two weeks ago: "Inter wants to settle Sucic's transfer in January to avoid risk. The player is reserved in an operation approved by the American owners. Inter has determined that it needs to rejuvenate the midfield and already has the first player for the new team and season It's Petar Sučić."

The Dinamo Zagreb midfielder was born in 2003. Inter has been following him for several months, and he started the transfer process a few weeks ago. The Croats say that this transfer is over, but at Inter they are far more reserved, although it is clear that the club's management wants to finish the job in the winter transfer window," wrote Calciomercato and continued:

"Sučić is currently injured and should return to the field in March. Inter is not worried about that and wants to calmly include him in their project. It will be an expensive operation, but an investment in sustainable development. Especially since Sučić is a very talented midfielder. Inter this investment will cost around 15 million euros, but Sučić is exactly the type of player that the Oaktree group, the new American owner of Inter, is aiming for."

He comes in place of the highly paid and disaffected Frattesi
The Italians point out that Sučić likes Inter because of his technical and tactical qualities: "He plays well with both feet, and in the middle he can be on the right or left side. It seems that Sučić will succeed Davide Frattesi (25), for whom Inter paid a compensation of 31 million euros, but he wants to leave because he is no longer a starter."

Sučić came to Dinamo from Zrinjski with a compensation of 200 thousand euros. In a year and a half in Dinamo, he played 60 games. He made his debut for the Croatian national team in September and has played five games for it so far. Transfermarkt estimates his value at 12 million euros.

It's hilarious that Juventus mercato has been a disaster, flop after flop after flop, and yet the only thing Giuntoli cares about is stealing a player from Beppe.

What a clown.

According to the Gazzetta, Juventus also made a late move to try and hijack Inter’s deal for Sucic.

The Bianconeri have tried to convince Dinamo and Petar Sucic over the last few days.

However, reports the Gazzetta, Sucic preferred the move to Inter. He has already made up his mind.
Was about to share this but bubba was faster.

Tell me a better love story than Giuntoli & Inter targets :yao:

Well in Cancelos case, he ended up being sold for a higher fee to Rube (41m€) than the option Inter had on him (35m€), so i wouldnt call that unrealistic.

It was a fair valuation for the player. Rafinha maybe less so.

The objectively realistic value of something or someone does not change depending on the economic potential of the buyer.

Yepp, done.

Several sources claim Inter have reached an agreement with Dinamo Zagreb over a permanent €14m transfer plus €2.5m bonuses.

Fabrizio Romano broke the news on Sunday evening, and Sucic commented on his Instagram post with blue and black heart emojis.
Some people on Reddit said Petar doesn't have social media accounts including Instagram.
