By the way, Napoli getting Saint-Maximin as Kvara replacement….😂

If Napoli will be able to get the Scudetto with this squad, Conte have done wonders there. They are just mediocre. With or without European competition.

We would smoke Nipples FC if we don't have extra UCL, Coppa, but we do and we are still competitive on all fronts like a massive club should be. Conte is a 1 tournament man , thats his max level. I'd always choose Simone.

Since there isn't much to talk about on our end
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Scalvini sustained another shoulder injury, which will require surgery and keep him sidelined for at least three months.
Scalvini barely recoverd from that ACL, basically missing the entire season. Sorry for him.

However, this is a good example why it's not a bright idea to splash €60M on a promising 20 years old unproven kid.

These events should drive his price further down for a summer. Would you still buy him on a discount, say €40M?

Not suggesting that 40M is the budget for a CB, I'm just asking: would you still consider signing Scalvini after such an injury record?!

To have the Central spot of the defence covered for years to come after Acerbi's departure?

I wouldn't rely on De Vrij without proper competition.

Pavard plays on the right and didn't exactly justify his price tag so far. Bisseck was tried in multiple positions at the back... would you trust him to be the club's starting CB?

Loan + option for 6M. 4 year deal if option is used. Don't know about his salary.

Risk free deal. We can check is he good enough for us and does he fit in. If yes, that's a cheap rotation player and still relatively young.

He is right age and 6 mln is nothing if he delivers similarly to Augusto.

Looking at his stats, he has played mostly as left winger/wingback. Also what I'm reading is that when he broke through, that was the season 22/23, he actually played more as RWB than LWB during that season. But the development hasn't gone upwards. Probably the environment (the mess what Roma has been) has affected that?

This is a buy-low situation for us, we buy once very promising talent at the stage when he has spent 1.5 years not progressing that well. But still being Serie A level player, plays as a starting LWB for his NT too.

He does definitely seem right-footed. Whether that has been an issue playing on the left...

At least it seems like he can play both sides, which is great.

Zalewski is right footed, and plays both left and right, and has over 150 games at pro level at the age of 23. The guy is gold struck if he brings the right mentality to the table.
