What profit? Chelsea hasn't bought Zakaria, it's just an option.

Arthur is just on a dry loan, they split the salary payment.
Zakaria seems to be loaned for a 3M fee. Juventus have offloaded his 3M salary to make room for Paredes, while signing him on a cheaper option. Potentially they could be making a significant profit with this option to buy for €30M.

With regards to Arthur, the official Juventus statement confirmed the details of the move, which was initially believed to be just a dry loan.

Liverpool have paid €4.5m for the one-season loan, plus €0.3m in bonuses, and have an option to buy for a further €37.5m, payable in two instalments. This is on top of getting rid of his huge salary, believed to be €5m per season net plus bonuses. Didn`t know Liverpool were this desperate! :yao2:

Sorry to write this but Juventus are kings of this mercato - by far. They even finished the mercato in green (making a profit).

C&F - Inter have been able to cut down wages from €137.3M of last year to €126.98M.
How much is that in %? Is Steven happy now?

they are so lucky, the Zakaria loan was also not a dry one - they got 3m fee +possibly another 1m loan. The fee of the loan almost pays what they paid for him to BMG. How on earth did Chelsea agree on that.

Yeah somehow EPL sides are on hypnosis regarding the players coming from Rube. Kulusevski and Bentacur were worst than Rabiot and Arthur yet those turds paid for Vlahovic and are now of very good value and rating under Conte. And if Zakaria and Arthur somehow play decently they are up for another 70M€ .

That is 4 unwanted bench players for 130-140M€ ! Thats better than our Lukaku sale and loan-back one year later. Obv you can't mention they had inside rat in Spurs and spread the ' Rube quality' to Lewy.

watch Juve getting paid for both Arthur and Zakaria next year and buy SMS with that money. Damn how i would hate that to happen. They made so many transfer mistakes lately but somehow they are able to offload all the deadwood, some even with profit, while we are stuck with it.

I was not thinkin about Roma,I was just refering to many of our "world class" players that are just not that. We have no world class player in our squad. Handanović was that in his prime. Others are not there. Brozo is pretty close but not there. Barella also. And Skriniar.

This is a hard truth. I feel like Bastoni and probably Lautaro can get there, but that's it. I love watching all of them, more than many world class players, but there is a distance our guys need to go to get there. One more year with top coach maybe or some great success, I don't know..

Now that it's done and dusted:
Not forcing out Bastoni and Skriniar was good.
Getting a loan on Lukaku was ok, but only because he maybe a vast improvement over Dzeko.
Asllani and Bellanova are ok and maybe really good, time will tell.
Losing out on Dybala, if it was linked to the Lukaku deal then it's a roll of the dice, only time, injuries and performance will tell.
The Bremer deal is the one that over shadows the whole summer window for me. He looked great, filled a definite need but the monetary timing just didn't work, plus giving Juve the chance to pounce and seal the deal will probably come back to haunt Inter.
As for Acerbi, well as a 🐸 fanboy, wished we had gone with a youngster but as a loan it's ok.

This mercato is shit.

The whole thing is shit. I had so much optimism when it looked likely Dybala, and Bremer were going to be signed.
