I have heard Barca is at the situation, that they still cannot register Olmo, despite Gundogan, despite Faye. I think it's going to go down the wire at the deadline what's gonna happen with Chiesa, or at least pretty close.

There's no chance for Barcelona. They couldn't even free up funds for Olmo. He was registered only because Christensen got injured.

I understand how they had issues with Messi for example, but are the problems now just that they way overpay salaries across the board? Was kinda assuming with some of the clearouts it'd be a lot better by now

Lewa makes a lot of money, De Jong makes even more money. I think their salary costs are just so big + amortizations from all the signings aswell affect.
