I thought he left a few seasons ago, can't remember the season Inter youth won the league and he was captain?

Colidio got hype from FM19 haha, he is another player we should be able to get some moola for and get off books.

Seems like we're stuck with him.

Bulgaria (06/09)
Romania (06/09)
Slovakia (06/09)
Russia (07/09)
Czech Republic (08/09)
Turkey (08/09)
Serbia (17/09)
Saudi Arabia (18/09)
Mexico (22/09)
Argentina (26/09)
Qatar (30/09)

The mercato is still open in these countries (among others). Maybe we can still find a destination for him. Who knows, maybe going back to Argentina could have a Gabigol-like effect on him.

Any news on him?
We`re stuck with him: Colidio is currently with the Nerazzurri first team having failed to move clubs in the summer, although he is not a part of the first team plans.

News:
Young Inter-owned striker Facundo Colidio has decided to change agent after his proposed move to Austria Vienna in the summer fell through.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Argentine is no longer represented by agent Fernando Cosentino after the failed move.

The 21-year-old had spent the past two seasons on loan in Belgium with Sint-Triuden, where he had shown some development but not been deemed ready to have a place at Inter.

The aim was to find a loan destination where the former Boca Juniors striker could continue his development in European football and Austria Vienna had been identified as the right club for him.

Colidio had even flown to Vienna and had lunch with Austria Vienna in preparation for his loan move but the deal collapsed thanks to corporate reasons, leading the player to decide to part ways with Cosentino as his agent.

Insignia executive Luka Sur has given some background on why Inter-owned Argentine striker Facundo Colidio’s loan move to Austria Vienna collapsed in the summer.

Speaking to Austrian news outlet 90minuten.at, the executive explained that Insignia had been working with the Austrian club to bring in players including Colidio during the summer but that there was never decisive action towards making the signings.

Colidio had been widely reported to be close to a move to Austria towards the end of the summer transfer window, and had even visited with club directors in preparation for a move.

However, the Argentine’s loan switch fell through and he remained at the Nerazzurri as the transfer window slammed shut.

As Sur revealed in the interview, part of the reason for this was a matter of the corporate decision-making at Austria Vienna related to Insignia’s plan to sign players from major European clubs, something which the Austrian side were apprehensive about according to him.

“We want to make it so that Austria Vienna establishes itself as an international brand,” he stated, “but only if we were to bring good players to the club and allow them to grow further.”

He continued that “Austria were also offered top-notch players during the summer transfer window, people who also played in the Premier League or Champions League. But the management and Sporting Director Manuel Ortlechner have always reacted extremely slowly or disinterestedly.”

“Towards the end of the transfer window we increased the pace again to bring good players from Inter, Olympique Marseille, Lille or Valencia, for example,” he said alluding to Colidio’s proposed loan. “All elements that would have significantly strengthened the Austria team.”

Define lucrative... he has 1 goal and 1 assist in 7 league matches.

Inter could offer striker Facundo Colidio as part of a deal to sign recent Italian national team call-up Mateo Retegui from Argentine club Tigre
This according to Italian news outlet FCInter1908, who report that the 23-year-old Retegui is a player on the Nerazzurri’s radar, and suggest that the fact that Colidio is currently on loan with Tigre could be a factor as they could offer him as part of a deal.

Young striker Retegui has caught the attention of many in recent days due to the fact that Italy coach Roberto Mancini has called the 23-year-old up to the Italian national team.

Retegui holds both Italian and Argentine passports, though he has been playing his football in Argentina.

According to FCInter1908, Inter have been tracking Retegui for some time, long before he was called up by Mancini based on recent outstanding form.

The outlet suggests that the fact that Inter striker Colidio is currently on loan with Tigre, where he has formed a strong partnership with Retegui and has attracted the interest of River Plate, could be a factor that allows the Nerazzurri to sign Retegui.

Mateo Retegui
has the same age but scored 6 in 7.
