The whole PL seems to be interested in this kid. Is he that big of a talent?

He was considered a huge talent at Rennes. Bayern got him for 20m when he was still 17. And he had lived up to the hype.

He was doing very well last season under Tuchel, either as a forward or a winger. Always making an impact coming from the bench. This was supposed to be his breakthrough season and it looked like he was a future star for Bayern. But Kompany doesn't seem to rate him.

In the wings, he prefers Oliseh, Sane, Coman and even Gnabry over Tel and he doesn't see him as a forward so he didn't play even when Kane was injured.

He has a lot of potential and in the right environment he could become an asset. I would have liked him at Inter for sure.

You know Barca affairs better but i think Nico problem at Barca was Xavi didn't rate him and considered him too attacking to play in Busquets position. Management just decided to cash in on a player coach didn't want to keep.

Not at all, that’s a false narrative - it was a FFP fatality, deals had to be made to remain compliant

There was belief he had Busi potential, especially that pausa, but the 30M buy option remained in case the club returned to 1:1. Now, Bernal is in the mix and midfield is less of a priority else he’d make sense to bring back

I remember his debut in pre-season, he had same shirt number as Busi and on my shitty stream I really thought it was Busquets playing - a lot of similarities, you can tell he modeled part of his game on Sergio

Either way, I blame Bartomeu for sinking the club and forcing them into decisions that helped the club but pushed players out that oridinarily would’ve thrived in the senior team. Remember, he’s a Masia product and the dream is to do what the current crop are doing

I equal parts don't really care to see Bayern reloading at the expense of their closest competitors once again, at the same time I demand more Wirtz and Musiala in my life. The national team games aren't enough to satisfy me.

I dunno, it tears at me. If it had to be Bayern or City, then make it Bayern. I don't need Wirtz playing at that club.

As a Bundesliga fan, i would hate to see Wirtz at Bayern. Wirtz and Musiala playing together behind Kane would simply be too scary. They would become the new Robbery.

I guess you never read or saw the entire interview, he indeed said then it was his dream as a child to play for Barca…and that the dream hasn’t changed

I wasn’t implying Barça had to be consulted, only that the player’s next move is likely going to be a big one and he has made no secret of that desire/dream. Of course, Modric and others have said similar so these are merely anecdotes that don’t determine anything

For now the pivot is typically Casado or Frenkie, paired with a defensive interior like Gavi and Pedri playing just in front of the pair. Fermin, Olmo & Pablo rotate - is there room for a player of Florian’s caliber? Yes, but I think at least 2 would have to exit

With Pau rotating in the central defense and Tah now confirmed for June, Andreas will have to exit but it also means Flick intends to fortify even in areas of strength so I wouldn’t rule out a German midfielder in summer…Plus, Nico of course
