You should be grateful that you have never saw him play!

I remember a game (not sure who it was against) where he simply gave up and did not even bother trying to track back and defend his opponent. It was like he did not want to be there or recognised during that moment in the game that he did not have what it takes to play in Italy or even play at all.

Dalbert never had any business playing in Italy, let alone playing for a club like Inter.

It was extraordinary. I have never seen a player just give up like that. And he would not even be able to argue that he was fouled and stopped playing or that he heard a whistle from the crowd and thought it was the referee blowing. He just gave up and knew he was way out of his depth.

In relation to Dalbert, I think they looked at a few highlights on YouTube, saw that he had an abundance of pace and thouight he would be a good acquisition.

The most amazing thing about Dalbert is that our scouts seemed to have missed, even though he was fast, that he could not play football.

Time to bump this thread and show our appreciation for the second best Ligue 1 lb in 2016/17 before his thread is moved to Former and slides into obscurity. He leaves the club after 6 years with 1 goal and 1 assist.

My personal favorite memory is his several attempts to pull a Lukaku, rolling the ball behind the defense before running to catch it. Each time the defender simply knocked him out of bounds before earning a goal kick.

I remember that game! I actually think he did not know which we were attacking. And I think it was a regular season game rather than pre-season.
