hm. mroe importantly the first one of those players was Nesta (where he did that zidane like turn) which makes it even better.

This guy put in a masterclass performance against AC. He was everywhere on the pitch. Showed real desire to win and do pretty much everything possible to ensure his team mates were never at a disadvantage.

He was our general in the middle of the park and pretty much embodies what it is to love the shirt you play in.

MILAN - Esteban Cambiasso spoke on his official website about Inter's incredible 2007 that concluded in the best possible way with a 2-1 victory over city rival's AC Milan.

"It has been a spectacular year, and everything has gone really well in the second half of the year too," he said. "I'm very happy about this and the fact that we finished off the year with this (derby) victory.

"I love the Inter shirt and winning these kind of games motivates you even more. Also, scoring the winning goal against Milan was an incredible and unmatchable feeling. I tried to score with a long-range shot during the match but it took a deflection, so I tried again and it went well. It was a special goal, and you could see that from the big embrace with my team-mates."

El Cuchu has played 23 competitive games in the last six months, clocking up 2,034 minutes and scoring 4 goals. "I feel good and have great confidence in a squad that has been consolidated," he added. "This helps me develop my game and I think this is the best period of my career."
